No, he wasn't proven ****. His name was mentioned in the BALCO scandal and he was quickly cleared of any wrongdoing. Years later Victor Conte came out saying he gave Shane EPO and Shane admitted that he took something but he thought it was vitamins, so it looks like he took EPO. Just like in this case it started with a simple accusation...Now who's making the accusation and who's being accused is irrelevent to me. If I'm Manny and I'm clean, I'm taking the tests to prove it and shut these mother****ers up.

So what if the fight doesn't happen and all of Manny's future opponents ask for this type of testing? Would it be fair to keep backing out?

You do realize that in the very article you posted it states that the test aren't reliable yet and they still need more testing? It also says that WADA (the same people that are saying HGH can't be read through urine test) has to approve it, and that obviously hasn't happened yet. So you either didn't read the article you posted or you're lying.

Pacquiao hasnt even grown. He weighed 144 on fight night for the 2nd Marquez fight and 148 on fight night against Hatton.

Thats hardly a big jump in weight. The guy just isnt cutting weight anymore, and the punch that KOd Hatton was a punch he walked onto.

He smashed oscar round after round without knocking him down, the same with Diaz, and Cotto for the last 8 rounds. The people that got floored were people that treated him like a small man that thought they could just walk through him.

I'm all for drug and steroid testing to the highest degree. Now let me ask you this. Are you in favor of making this intrusive USADA blood testing standard practice for all pro boxers from now on? Or just for Manny Pacquiao? Fair question, I expect a fair answer.

Look when you have the guy that is most famous for this stuff saying that the technology invovled in PED's are way ahead of the testing that is out there, then yes they need to do the highest level of testing that can be done. That is a blood urine matrix. Also testing should be done randomly during training. Pac's camp keeps talking about the other American sports league testing, but they do RANDOM testing, they dont tell them when they want to do the tests. The difference between what is done with the USADA and pro leagues is the pro leagues look to minimize thier testing so that thier brand isnt totally ****ed. That is the reason that MLB would refuse to test its players, and why the NBA and NFL did only limited testing that is from the dark ages until recent.

I see nothing wrong with that level of testing thoughout boxing, its going to be hard because boxing doesnt have a central governing body, and it would be up to each State to do its own level of testing. The problem is if Nevada said tomorrow we are going to the highest level of testing we can fights would all of a sudden start poping up more in New Jersey.
