For all the Khan management nuthuggers: This is what a real prospect performs like.

His ninth win. The guy was coming off a victory over Frddie Norwood a former world champion who once beat Juan Manual Marquez.

All Gamboa's opponents have been of good quality. Gamboa would ko Khan in under a minute, even though Khan is way bigger than him.

I don't see the point in the thread, other than to stir up some more bull****. Not everyone is going to agree with you, no matter how many threads you make regarding non-British and irrelevant prospects

    You've made your point

The point i'm making Nuthug.com is that Khan is not been managed confidently - nor is he yet performing on this level. How is the guy irrelevant? He is a young, unbeaten former amateur star who boxed in exactly the same olmpic games.

Gamboa is amazingly talented. I'm interested to see how his career goes.

So he's not performing on the level of what many acknowledge as the best prospect in the world, big ****ing deal. Gamboa is much more talented

The time to judge will be when they are both world champions, or God forbid they fight. A lot can happen in that time, but yes Gamboa is being moved along quickly in comparison, well spotted!

It's not really relevant to British boxing, and is just another cheap shot in your crusade against all things Khan. Look at your thread title for ****s sake, there is no objectivity whatsoever. You covered everything on a far more intelligent level in your last thread

I'm not Anti Khan at all. The point is the guy is fighting fellow prospects and former world title challengers he's had 9 fights. Do you think his management would even consider khans next opponent? even if it was a wbo tidle eliminator?

My boy Gamboa is quality......as a cuban amateur he was p4p no 2 after the great super mario (who khan gave a good fight too)

He is 5 yrs older than Khana which is why he is being moved along quicker....it will be interesting to see how the two careers pann out

    Errr, yes

They are ****ing promoters, if they could get their hands on a world title without much risk they would do so

What is this bull****? Sports Network are big, bad and evil, every other promoter is a saint?

No doubt Gamboa is an amazing prospect. Maybe even better than Khan and I'm a huge Khan fan. But you're going over board.

Gamboa is 26 a fully grown mature man with over 400 amatuer fights. Khan is 21 with very little senior amatuer experience maybe only 20 including the Olympics.

Edwards beat Freddie Norwood by DQ it wasnt a WIN by UD or KO. Norwood was was DQed for contraversial low blows. Norwood is 38 and was on 6 year lay off making a coming back against no bodies in 06. So apart from that Edwards record is just as bad as any of Khan's opponents. In fact, St. Clair is much better opponent than Norwood.
