True there are lots of benefits to boxing with your hands down you just have to have the reflexes to pull it off. Jeffro began amateur life as an Ali impersonator... Anyone who has seen me box will tell you that my hands don't leave my chin these days.

    Thanks TeddyOO7.

You are far too generous though - compared to some who post on the brit forum I consider my knowledge of the sport to be quite limited.

That VT of Gamboa was very impressive.
In fairness over 400+ amatuer fights and he is 5 years older than Khan so I dont think a like for like comparison is very fair at the moment.

I think Khan still has a lot of developing to do and can get a lot stronger, I hope Warren steps up the competition for him soon but as for Khan wanting the title shot so soon, I am not sure he is ready.

I will watch both Gamboa and Khan with great interest, at the moment I think Gamboa would beat Khan.

Exactly. Why do you think the Cuban's stay amature? So they can avoid Khan. Evan Solis is avoiding him.

Lennox Lewis retired just in case Khan who was 12 at the time suddenly had a huge growth spurt and became a heavy.

Dwilson & Jeff - see you are catching on.

The lengths some are prepared to go to - remain amateur or retire to avoid Khan.

Hatton will fight Witter so Khan does not bring up his name again.

Don't think even Witter has escaped Khan's attention.

Recall Witter responding recently that Khan didn't have the tools to beat him yet as you need more than speed! Not been tested against a puncher and until he fought Thaxton he couldn't really claim to be the best lightweight in Britain let alone the world.

Witter needs to read this board and then he would see the light - Khan is being avoided big time!
