Ali is the much superior boxer. He had hand and foot speed and a fluidity that neither of the Klitschko's ever possessed.

Opponent wise - prime Foreman and Frazier would probably flatten Wladimir if not Vitali. Wlad lost to much worse pressure fighters whereas Lewis was able to bully Vitali and a prime Foreman would do it much easier.

This has to be one of the most disrespectful and deranged threads on ESB , ! What a wanker this guy is ! , neither of your boyfriends would have defeated a prime Ali even if Ali had fought them with one arm . Stop with your secret hate and learn more boxing .

Holyfield's prime was when he beat Tyson twice & the Bowe fight. That's the only version of Holy that stands a chance against either Klitschko & quite honestly, that still isn't much of a chance. :deal

That part is correct but Ali would be facing much larger, still fast fighters with excellent power, especially Wladimir. Either Klitschko hits harder than Ali & the only way Ali stops Vitali would be by cuts.

He would have lost to both by KO, the proof is he has avoided both since they turned pro.

I actually agree with the poster, that the Klits would have a great chance against Ali. I too am sick and tired of the world thinking that Ali was invincible, that his losses don't count, and that any fighter, no matter how big, skilled, dangerous, would crumble before the guy dancing in circles, flicking out jabs, landing one in every four of them. Come on, if these good average-sized guys gave Ali major trouble, then a couple of skillful giants could do the same.
And now sit back and wait for the posts about how Ali was rusty for Frazier, unprepared for Norton, etc. etc. etc..

The Klitschkos would stand a decent chance against the post-exile Ali (or more precisely mid-70's Ali) that lost to the likes of Norton, but not pre-exile. Frazier on the other hand was always a bad matchup for him, and would be likewise for someone like Wladimir.
