For all we know, Errol Spence Jr could be the next Berto!

You just never know until they fight a top 10 guy, or even top 20

Spence has never even fought a B Level boxer

Berto also looked sharp KOing bums, until he stepped up and got beat up. Berto was also very hyped

Hopefully Haymon gives him someone good next, like Ghost or even Devon Alexander, if he is the truth he axes em

I rate Spence. I never rated Berto at all.

Of course time will tell but when people like Floyd Mayweather and Freddy Roach are picking him to be a future star in boxing, you make a mental note to pay attention to his climb.

I think he is more well rounded than Berto. But, I'd like to see him in with Soto Karass or Guerrero next, since they hold wins over Berto. Or put him in with Berto. That would be a good fight for him, against a named fighter. And Berto looked ok in his last fight.

I have a feeling Floyd may be talking up Berto and Mayfield for this very reason. Not for himself, necessarily...but, for Spence. Thurman and Porter aren't taking a prospect as their next fight, especially, not a dangerous one.
