Don't pay for this fight. How are they gonna bring it back to tv if you chumps keep shelling out the money?:huh

If Ali and Leonard managed to do without PPV then so can Cotto and Margarito.

Seriously, I might do it, who knows. I usually don't watch fights until the next day cuz my girlfriend would be pissed if I wasted a Sat night keeping her indoors.

But tonight we have no plans and she just got back from a trip and is broke. I was able to talk her into the Mayweather/Hatton maybe I can talk her into this.

 

Obviously not enough if you have to come here and make complaints that not enough people are buying it. Buying more PPV's for this fight wont save boxing, it wont prove its not dying, all it'll do is fill up the promoters pockets.

This is a good fight but I dont agree with PPV in general. Good fight like these should be readily available to the public...then once they get interested in them for free, they may be shown in HUGE fights for PPV. Cotto-PBF for example maybe PPV worthy. Fans dont have to pay for Federer-Nadal final, why they have to pay for unification fight...?

Not just reffering to this fight, most fights in general.

 

Especially with the undercard they put together, I really don't think this should be PPV. Granted, if I was in America at the moment I'd buy it, but still. And it's not for the unified championship, just the WBA belt.

 

Margo had to vacate his belt to fight Cotto.

 

Im watching the fight on setanta which is a subscription channel in the uk.

But if a fight isnt being screened in this country and the only way i could watch it is via a stream then damn right.

But if its on ppv or subscription channel i have no prob paying for it :good

Unfortunately though it isnt the case so it either a stream or not watch the fight so what would you do and dont lie

 

Nobody ever complains about ppv results...they just use it as a reference on how popular or unpopular a fighter is. Show me some posts and threads on people complaining.

Saying boxing is dying is not complaining either, its stating something. I love Michael Jackson, his albums isnt going no.1 now, id have to accept his music isnt as good/popular anymore. Asking people to buy his cd's to "prove" he's still popular is kinda desperate.
