Out of curiosity, what do American fight fans think of the atmosphere at Ricky Hatton fights. Is it something you respect or otherwise.
I love it. It makes the fights more exciting. It brings nationalism to the table of the sport. Also a lot more popularity so if its good for boxing im happy.
It makes you proud to be a boxing fan, all controversial aspects aside. The following that Hatton has is contagious. We can only hope for more of that sort of influence in our sport. On top of that I personally think it's well founded. Ricky Hatton is a huge star in my view, and one of the most charismatic figures in any sport.
When a large group of people support a fighter as his fans do - what's not to love about it. We would all love to have a dedicated following of our favorite Fighter as Ricky's are. If you don't like it - more than likely - you don't like Ricky.
