Mayweather and DeLaHoya could only Wish to have FANS lke that. If either one of them fought at "WEMBLY" how many U.S. fans would fly overthere. Not many !!
it shows enthusiasm...only thing that americans (like me) can come close to being that hardcore is when it comes to their college or NFL football teams.... but , i think its great the way the british fans are crazy hyped up fans...its like the superbowl for them everytime he fights
Other than the fact that it does kinda drown out the sound of the punches, I love it. I always thought brittish fans of Soccer or Rugby or boxing seem to have the most fun... Its pretty great, I think its also one reason they get so bias toward their own boxers as well, because they really really YEARN for a great fighter, so that they can all get together and sing like they do haha
You even get that atmosphere at cricket from england fans especially the boxing day test in austrilla.
I do enjoy it but it also made me question how much of a fan they really were when they were still singing AFTER Mayweather stopped him.
Its not the singing I don't like, its the songs they've chosen to sing which I think are kind of gay and annoying. Winter Wonderland? C'mon.
so he loses and the fans still chant his name rather than making their way to the exits and you question this?
I think its great how the Brits get behind there fighters and seem to have a great time themselves while doing it.....We Americans( myself included) are to uptight and should loosen up...:rasta
If they cared that much I would think they be pretty bummed that they just flew thousands of miles just to see there boy get knocked out.
no, Ricky Hatton would be the most bummed, therefore they carried on singing his name as if to say ''we still love you Ricky''
