locche was a fighter during the 60's- mid 70's. thats only 30 or so years ago, at that point in time boxing was already fully evolved. duran at that time period could handle all of these lightweights fighting at the present. ali who competed at that time period would clean out todays hvy weight division, and would have been favored (possibly dominate) against the division in the 80's/90's. what guys like china_hand_joe consider primitive are those guys who more or less competed pre 50's/ mid 40's. you'll find there are a lot of nostalgic dreamers here who would pick, lets say, jack johnson/dempsey/joe louis over wlad/tyson H2H. H2H pacman would eat pep for breakfast too. it's not a knock on the old timers, i have tremendous respect for them and their accomplishments. it's just that i feel some people hold them in such high regard to the point that there judgement in comparing them to new fighters become skewed.

The only thing this vid proves is what a lot of Floyd fans have been saying already .. Floyd is a student of the old school , but a student of boxing over all.

:-( :-( :-( I guess when Floyd fought Castillio with broken ribs , I guess he had no heart in that fight right ???

man u haters are off the Hook with some of the accusation you throw at floyd, but yet he seems to keep winning .

You mean the fight he should have lost.

And that would be the fight that made Floyd a even bigger runner/defensive fighter.

When you guys act like Castillo won that fight, you damage your own credibility, and it makes everything else you write suffer from that.
I mean I have fighters I'm not particularly fond of, but I'm not going to act as if they are losing fights that they are not losing.
Imagine someone in the middle of an intelligent conversation all of a sudden saying something as foolish as that.
