Was whackin' away at a heavy bag upstairs at Stillman's gym 'n a guy bunks into me, throwing me off balance.

I whirled to say, "What the hell's the matter with you?"

It was JOE ****IN' LOUIS, THE BROWN BOMBER. My mouth dropped open.

He apologized, tapped me on the shoulder (surprised it didn't floor me) 'n went back to hittin' the heavy bag.

Lets try to keep this thread alive. Not a funny story really, quite sad or weird really.. Happened like a year ago. Used to train alone back then and didn't really have a coach to look at me most of times. This professional fighter (no pro fights) asks me to spar him, hes 25 or somethin and i was 15 so it seemed strange.. i didn't refuse, put the headguard and gloves on and went in. Round 1, all smooth, until i land a stiff jab which ticked him off. Next 3 rounds was war, i was still 'new' compared to him and still exchanged shots all the time (he is quite ******ed really) .. He was 10kg more than me and pure muscle and also 10 years older probably at his athletic peak. Cheeky ****er, lands a liver shot on me on 3rd and puts me down almost crying, i stand up and continue. End of 4th round he lands some shot straight in my solar which put me down very bad. 4 rounds ended and were both bleeding and i was about to cry with pain.

He later has the balls and comes up to me and says, "You think im ready for my fight? How was my head movement?" i felt like answering "Listen you stupid ****er, next time you pick me to spar i'll bring a spiked bat with me and beat the living Christ out of you" but i just said "yea looking slick" .. He asks me to spar him again and this time actually beat him up. He said the same thing after and replied "**** off, your ****".. Sorry not the most exciting post but don't want to see this thread die so put up anything you can :good

25 year old pro with 10kg struggled and had difficulties with a 15 year old in their first spar and you did better than him in your second.

either he is very **** or there is something a bit fishy about this story haha.....

A friend of a friend introduced me to a local fighter in a bar one night, Antonio summat or another, anyway he kept telling me to feel his chest & abs cause they were rock solid......apparently.

    Weird guy.

Had this Fighter, who because I think of investments and property had to keep going. Anyway a Physio was brought into the Team, who I thought hadn't a clue. But because I was busy, I did not kick up a fuss, just get on with it. Anyway He had a hard 12 rds had to pull it out which He did. In the Dressing room there were signs eyes diluted and shivering, that He was dehydrated. Physio started to massage Him, I blew my top telling Him to basically to **** off, and leave Him, called an Ambulance got Him to Hospital. After an Hour the Doctors came to see, us waiting in the waiting room. Asked who had brought Him in, the Physio pointed to me and said Him, with a smirk, Doctors came to me and said, well done Mr another 4 hours He would be Dead. Never saw the Physio again.
