I don't remember my exact score but I thought it was pretty clear for FLoyd. I remember coming on here and seeing that some people actually thought that oscar won and being amazed. You really have to be a serious floyd hater to score that fight for Oscar. That being said I hate that way that Floyd nuthuggers try to make it sound like he had some kind of masterfull performance. He did just enough to get the job done. He didn't dominate anything or do anything extra impressive. It was a **** boring fight escpecially for all the hype around it
Exactly. DLH faded down the stretch and blew a fight he was winning in at one point. I had it 116-113 for Floyd. Keith
What do you expect us to write???? We all knew Mayweather won, but not a lopsided, schooling fashion. So yes, Mayweather won!!!!
I saw Floyd win relativley easy as i predicted early on Oscar tried to be agressive throwing his jab and trying to get to the body. People say his lack of a jab lost the fight i thought it was lack of hitting the body. Maywhether is extremely faast with his upper body movements but like any normal human being can not move his body nearly as fast. I rooted for Oscar and found the fight boring but I shook my head at an SD. just Vegas judges trying to cause drama by making it seem close doing oscar a favor. Old legends get that kind of treatment see sturm. The fight was not even close. Floyd won 8-4 easily Oscar who tried hard early tired and lost 9-12 giving up the last few rounds down the stretch. He was doing good and had a chance to win and then just stopped fighting. Had Oscar been a few years younger he may have one. At that gae he was too slow and not agressive and seemigly just resting on his laurels in that fight never reallt going for it or showing grit like he did early in his career
Floyd Mayweather won rounds 9,10,11, and 12 clearly. In round 8 he outlanded Oscar 20-14. so you could logically give the last 5 rounds to Mayweather.
This fight was very close to even. More importantly, I do not think it was anywhere near as boring as the rest of the world does. I thought it was a very intense and tactical fight. But then again, I'm a boxing fan. The rest of the world is not filled with boxing fans. Hell, sometimes I wonder how many people on this site are boxing fans.
Personal attacks on me mean nothing. If I wasn't telling the truth, every mayweather fan would jump on my dick every time I talked. You kids are showing how intimidated you are by me, by following me around the forum looking for an in.
Agreed! I thought it was close as well, by my above post! I also was not bored by this match! Some people are only entertained by slugfests and brawls, which in all honesty are usually more pleasing to the eye! But there is something special about a tactical match up to a pure boxing fan. while this was not top notch, it was a good match up between 2 guys who clearly respected one another and looked for whatever openings were there, without putting ones self at to great a risk...or boxing in other words!
It is the sweet science. It's really sad to see how many people here don't understand it. As much as I love skilled, slick, quick, intelligent fighters who posess the subtleties such as footwork and ring generalship, or amazing defense....I still love to see brawlers and straight-forward fighters too. But there is so much more to it than that, as that style (straight-forward brawling) is suited for the lamen's eye, while fights like this can only be appreciated by keen boxing observers. It is similar to a baseball purist loving a pitcher's duel. There are many folks on this site that appreciate the sweet science in it's entirety as well, it's just that we are in the minority.
