I was a fan but his fight with Maidana turned me into a hater. He acted like such a ***** in that fight. I went from cheering for him to wanting to see him ko'd after the first round.
Broner didn't reach the highest levels of the sport but few ever do. But for being so young he is very accomplished. He's a multi division champion and a multi world champion and he's not even 25. From a career perspective he's already accomplished more than 99% of all the professional boxers out there.
im not sure the loss humbled him. i think he has potential to be a great fighter, nowhere near as good as his big brother but he needs to learn quick smart
Has legit talent. But his ridiculous ego will be his downfall. He cannot and will not be able to compete at 147. He's not Pac. He's not Floyd. He's a little guy without their greatness, who should be at 140 max. Actually, should have never left 135. If he insists on fighting at WW, he will get KTFO - more than once.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl It must suck to be a Broner fan. The fact that you twats support a man who punches a 60 year old women in the face to steal money says it all about you lot: scums.
You are only as good as your last fight.....so the saying goes. Broner has a chance to make some adjustments and hopefully learn from his mistakes...both inside and outside the ring. I can't tell because he's been so quiet....but I think he is a little more humbled. It's a start and can only help the kid fulfill his potential. If he goes back to being the over the top flamboyant knucklehead that thought he could move up 2 weight classes and tackle a guy like Marcos then he'll be "yesterdays news", permanently.
Broner needs to start taking boxing more seriously. He needs to quit with all the rap and social media get his ass in the gym and get a real trainer. A no nonsense kind of guy who will tell Broner how it is and won't take anything less. Lastly he needs to move back down to 135 or 140 I think he has already moved back down to 140. If he does these things he will be fine.
I mean.....to play devils advocate Broner is easy to hate on. He's just a fu*kin toolbox. His Fu*kery has made him a target and it's unfortunate because that overshadows his ability and talent. Had Broner acted in a more professional and humble manner his ambitious task of jumping up 2 weight classes and taking on Miadana woul have been admired.....but instead everyone was hoping and praying that this kid get exactly what was coming to him. It's only a loss if you don't learn from it.
Not really, but Kell Brook's never been compared to the next Mayweather by his fanboys and then get's completley outboxed by an Argentine plodder that Devon Alexander schooled.
