For Bute to be included in the 6-man tournament ....

    Bute, Bika and Green...

    Only Bute can argue he could have been in there...

    We KNOW FOR A FACT that Bika would not win the tourney. Right?

    We KNOW FOR A FACT that Green would not win the tourney, right?

    On the other hand we do not know whether Ward, Dirrell and Bute could win the fight because they have never lost so we do not know their limits. We know they are all really really good. Bute is the most proven of the three - but Ward is quite proven. Only Dirrell is not so proven, but has blinding skill and the Hanshaw win was a good win.

    So in essence only Bute can make a claim. Green and Bika have no claim - because we want people in there who could win the whole thing! Sure, Bika and Green may have accomplished more than Dirrell! But Dirrell's upside right now seems bigger than either guy's upside.

    why is Bika being mentioned, if you wanted Super Six with the best SMW's Kessler Froch & Bute have to be in it.

    Abraham, Pavlik & Taylor are the others who deserve to be based on merit with Steiglitz, Balzsay, & Andrade close behind. The last 3 are all more entitled than Ward, Dirrell & Green but American citizenship took precedence

    Ward more than Dirrell for a youngster with potential, although unproven.

    I'm noy fussed about Bute not being there, he has unfinished business with Andrade but I would probably go with Dirrell, however, this tournie might be the making of Dirrell ... who knows?

    Everyone in the tournament is ranked top 10 @ super middleweight other than Abraham and Bute is the consensus #2 behind Kessler.
