For everyone saying Margo is ducking...

people always talk the same ****. And then when the fights get made they act all innocent like they never said anything in the first place. Same **** happened for Calzaghe vs Hopkins. You should've seen how many morons on both sides were saying that one fighter was too scared to fight the other. Then the fight gets made and noone even realises how dumb they are, they just keep on going with the "ducking" bull**** with 2 other fighters

Trust me, alot of fans here are still upset he destroyed Cotto, and are trying their best to discredit Margarito even though he's been class all this time.

 

I'm just replying to the title of the thread because I cba'd to read all that, but it's absolutely ridiculous for anyone to claim he is ducking anyone when his next opponent is anyone's guess. When an opponent is confirmed then I would consider listening to an argument saying he was ducking somebody, but saying it when nobody knows who he is fghting next is just idiocy.

 

OK I'm offender #1. But like I said before. I don't think Margo is personally scared of anyone himself. But he made his reputation on calling other folks out. And honestly, after reading about the offer yesterday I have tried to chill to wait and see what happens (although I will respond to people who claim he wasn't offered an immediate rematch and that Williams was scared)...

But regardless of what anyone says, if he doesn't fight Oscar, and rejects the $4M for something easier, it will be clear to me what he ("he" meaning his management) is doing.

They are just hating on Margo and PBF. When Cotto could have possibly fought DLH everyone said he deserved a pay day.

Fans can't have it both ways. You can't discredit one guy for going after big money fights, then excuse another guy for doing the same thing.

Margo needs to rematch Paul before he does anything else.

And no, Margarito does NOT need to rematch Williams before anything else. Margarito has fought the top guys in the division for the past several years. He's fought Cintron X2, Clottey, Cotto, and Williams. That's much better then anyone else at the moment. If he wants a gimme or a money fight, he's more then earned it.

Obviously its not the exact same. One was moving into their 5th weight class to make a big fight. While one doesn't want to rematch a fighter he didn't want to fight until he became his mando.

 

Then the fans aren't trying to have it both ways, as you said. That's all.
