Don't see how this fight would generate any money in Australia tbh - no more than Green fighting Siaca. And if they fight in NZ is there any money over there?? and after Cameron was smashed by Tua wld their public be interested? is Danny Green any sort of name in NZ?
All good questions Beaver. I doubt it'd be a big $$$ fight, but would probably pay a few bills in both households none-the-less. Didn't see how the Tua v Cameron bout went box-office wise. It certainly had a huge build-up over there. ...and as BCN said, the NZ dollar doesn't exchange too well with the OZ one at present.
I think there is an odd irony here. The only ink boxing got for years was the Boxing day yacht race. For the last 10 years, we've had our two main men "feeding the chooks" to keep the game alive, & the ones bluing the most are the core fans on boxing forums. Aren't we supposed to know what's **** & what's sugar? Here's a tip, we're supposed to get it. We're supposed to laugh at the jokes that Joe public don't get. It's entertainment. Any heat keeps the dinner warm, so to speak.:good
All you haytaz...take off your hayta shadez, stop drinking the hatorade, Green is the answer Danny ENVIRONMENTAL Green :yep
You haytaz are pathetic, Danny Green is a national hero, he can surf, he is a champion boxer, and he's saved a bloke's life in the surf...how can you hate a genuine dinky-di Aussie hero who can surf and save people's lives? Youse are all ****ed, youse are all letting tha hayte block your vision http://www.perthnow.com.au/danny-green-saved-my-life/story-e6frg4iu-1111112325735
**** you blokes are pathetic. tall poppy syndrome at its disgusting best in here. :bart hating a bloke who fights with his heart and soul every time he steps between the ropes? wake up to yourselves.
Try something a bit different Danny...fight...a...top...contender...from...the...cruiserweight... division. This applies to every fighter and their weight class. Boxing's being ruined by all this BS. Give it time and there'll be no weight classes, just a series of one-off fights which ultimately mean very little in the context of boxing history
