floyds got the money ok now he talks about how he wants to be the greatest ever thats cool but is it bull****?! for him to say he is better than joe louis, ray robinson and ali the kid has to do more than make 50 mill . He has to fight some big names. Those guys i named had alot of fight alot for me to consider him top 10 atg he has to beat cotto, and the winner of cintron, margo
this wont happen. Because floyd lacks the heart to risk it all ray, joe, ali fought EVERYONE everyone this kid has not done that yet even roy took risks i know in my past post i was all gunho floyd but looking back at those guys floyds jus got to do more

Mayweather definately has the ability, in fact if he clears up his current division, you would have to be some sort of serious hater not to put him in the top 10 ATG list if not top 3!

And joe Louis shouldnt be anywhere near a p4p list!:nono

It is true that Mayweather will never be the GOAT. He would have to face Cotto, Mosley, Williams, Margarito, Spinks, Forrest. Too much, he won't do it.

However, Louis, Ali, Robisnon, didn't face EVERYONE.

Joe Louis didn't face Elmer Ray.

Ray Robinson didn't face Charley Burley.

Actually, you CAN deny that Floyd is great...and YOU make the point.
Like you say, Floyd doesn't have great fighters on his resume. But thats the determining factor is judging a fighters quality..who he's fought.
Its true, the lack of top top quality guys is down these days. So for Floyd to prove himself, he has to fight EVERYBODY. Not just a rerun with Oscar. Cotto's already taken a major player out of the mix, Mosely, so if and when Floyd beats Miguel, then we can start talking great.

... do more than beat just Dela Hoya again, and Cotto.

He does the above however, and he cracks into the top 25 no problem. Top 20 for me, personally.

Floyd's around the top 40 right now. To get to top 10 status, he would need to beat Cotto, Mosley, Forrest, and Spinks. He's not willing to fight that much as it's clear he only wants the big fights. If he finishes off his career by beating De La Hoya and Cotto, he's probably top 20, but not top 10.

If he beats cotto he cracks the top 15 for me, however i think he struggles to go much further up, cotto is the only top liner that floyd has open to him ast the moment, unless he totally cleans out 154 or wins a title at middle i not sure if he can crack top 10

    :-(

PBF is a GREAT FIGHTER who is cursed by being in a time where there arent many other great fighters.......

its funny how all of you say he has to beat COTTO to be TOP 15....:patsch

cott isnt a HOF just a young guy thats undefeated...just like williams was all hype...cotto is the same,...i think Cotto is much better but Mayweather doesnt need Cotto...cotto needs him:thumbsup

I'm a Mayweather hater, but lets be real for a second....

It's possible to name 30 fighters that are more revered than Mayweather...More accomplished? That's a different story.

I'm with you on top 10.
