Rigo and FMJ could do the same thing in a smaller ring. FMJ and Rigo would just PUNISH their opponents more. Lara... Nah, he's not on that level. He RUNS. But when you put him in a small ring, he still KOed his opponent, but in a GREAT fight.
Casual, you mother ****er. Ain't nothing casual about me, you *****. I just want ENTERTAINMENT. Runnin is not boxin, you piece of ****. You make the ring a little smaller, EVERYONE wins. Pep had smaller rings, he was still a hell of a boxer. FMJ could do the same thing in a smaller ring, and so could Rigo. But there would be MORE KOs. Period. Stop bein a *****.
Exactly, he couldn't RUN. You put Rigo in the ring, Rigo is so good, he would put on a boxing display, AND KO his opponent. Lara DID put on a boxing display, but it was ENTERTAINING because he couldn't RUN. What's the problem here?
Can anyone tell me WHY this is not enough space? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhzEB7AOrII TELL ME!!!! What the **** you want? A damn FOOTBALL field? Mother ****er, it's a fight. It ain't runnin around like a *****. You want good ratings and to TRULY see who the best is? You want to see SKILLS on FULL display? Make the ring the size it was in Angulo vs Lara. It won't matter for guys that fight in a phone booth anyway. But damn...these big ass rings allow fighters to RUN, and not fight or use their skills.
Nah, **** that. You wann give a mother ****er a damn football field to run around in. This ain't tag. It's BOXING. Lara vs Angulo was the IDEAL ring size. PERIOD.
It would make for more entertaining fights with the likes of Angulo, but with the likes of Trout it would still be pretty boring because Trout wouldn't press the action either.
It would give Trout a chance at least. I admire Trout. Trout will give the fans a fight. He could have fought Canelo like a pure *****, and won the fight. But he went out and tried to get the fight. He knows entertainment value. If the ring size was the same size as Angulo vs Lara, it wouldn't have done any harm. I mean, perhaps it would have allowed Lara to be more active and Trout may have gotten knocked out, but either way, fans win. And like I said, Trout has a chance.
I have no idea what is not entertaining about Rigo's style.... honestly. Its not like hes gainer, raheem, or cory spinks in there. What he does is absolutely beautiful, and he creates some beautiful offense too. Last night being a stinker has everything to do with Agbeko looking to survive.
Why do you expect Agbecko to run around the ring, hitting a guy that has 20 feet to run around? I mean, it was futile. Now don't get me wrong, Rigo would have won either way. But you make the ring smaller, you would have seen Rigo do some moves that makes him great, plus he probably would have ended the fight in a KO. You give him a football field to run around in, people walk out. It's ****ing boring. I know you gotta agree that Lara vs Angulo was a hell of a fight. Right?
Nah, Trout tried to outbox Lara and when Plan A didn't work, he didn't have a Plan B. Lara would've won a one sided victory in a phone box. In a small ring I can imagine a guy like Kirkland giving Lara hell though.
YDKSAB! boxing is about using the ring using footwork and lateral movement so your opponent cant hit u! not about standin in the pocket its called boxing and as far as the cuban fighters the best of em are far more talaneted than mayweather like alvarez and la cruz!
Boring???? It's called boxing. Hit and not be hit. The noble art. You don't like it then how can you call yourself a boxing fan. If all you want is all out slug fests and stone cold knock outs then you are not a boxing fan. You are just someone who likes to see seven shades of **** kicked out of someone. That's not boxing. I personally love really tactical fights. Watching a guy wait, create openings and capitalise. It's boxing in its purest form. What's not to love?
