For how long fans will remeber Mayweather ...

I could see him going down as Tyson. A man with lots of natural talent and pretty amazing achievement that ends up being more known for what he could have accomplished. People will talk about this mythical hayday of their career where they were unstopable beast. Before the Douglas fight for Tyson and the 135 and before days for Mayweather. Though ultimately they don't accomplish nearly as much as they could. Tyson ended up just not nearly focused enough and Mayweather just never tries to challenge himself. And once Mayweather is locked up they'll have that in common too.

Yeah but that's not true...Pac refused Mayweather style testing, not boxing commission's testing. He was even willing to go beyond the "required testing". And now he has completely agreed to testing, Mayweather is on vacation. Twist it all you like, but people who are not blinded by Floyd's nuts is gonna see it this way. Say for example, who is ESPN and many other sports networks blaming for the fight not happening. Who was being called a "coward" by the networks...it sure wasn't Pac.

 

Boxing fans? FOrever. He's going to be involved in the biggest fight of all time and already has been in massive fights.

How will he be remembered? As dominating the second best of his era. As being an undefeated champion over 5 weight classes. As having beat great boxers like Pacquaio, Delahoya, Mosley, Corrales, Castillo, Marquez. As having beat around 20 world champions and about 10 lineal champions
