Technically skilled it's always been Wlad, without a doubt.

Vitali perfected what worked for him (leaning in and out of reach) and was an hard *******.

Wlad's technique always was/is superior but Vitali was simply the better fighter before he got old.

vlad has more skill and better technique, and a perfected but cheap ***** strategy. however vitali has a tougher chin, and punch resistance and isnt scared to trade if he would need to... wlads more skilled but vitali is a much better overall fighter. at least he was in his prime. hes 41 now....and should retire..before he ends up losing to some bum like tyson fury who wouldnt last with him in vitalis prime

Wlad is bouncing off the canvas from the various assortment of bombs Vitali withstood from Lewis. Wlad has a greater legacy only because of Vitali's layoff. No Ifs involved.

I am one of those who voted for Vitali, actually because he is losing in this poll lol. Both are extremely skilled but Vitali is a fighter just like Lennox was, but not Wlad of today. I believe Lennox was still in his prime when he fought Vitali, the "Lennox was shot, old, fat, lazy" argument is just a lame excuse by the haters. So losing to an ATG on cuts is still outstanding and not a shame, and I think Vitali could have beat Lennox in a rematch, but I am not sure if Wlad would have managed to beat him if he had felt all the hard punches that Vitali took, not getting hit by Lennox is almost impossible, and a slugfest means stress for Wlad, while Vitali likes all kinds of engagement. And Vitali would have beat all opponents that Wlad beat (yes, also Byrd if healthy).
I am not trying to discredit Wlad, technically he is the better brother no doubt, and anyone calling him boring does not understand boxing.
A fight between the brothers =55% chance for Vitali.

    Wlad

I believe he has far better footwork, better footspeed, greater handspeed, greater power, has a wide variety of technically almost perfect punches (he does not display them all, but then similar to Mayweather, he rarely needs to)

His ring generalship is excellent, he can fight effectively on the back or front foot, rarely ever takes punches, and can deal with boxers, movers, brawlers (yes, he can)

Not to mention throughout his career he has faced the better opposition to Vitali

I beleive the last few years wlad has been in his prime (Chagaev, Haye, Chambers, Peter II) possibly peaking in the Haye fight, and the Wlad from the Haye fight beats any version of Vitali imo

    Terribly underrated fighter

Depends what you consider to be a skill. Wlad has better punching technique and less crude footwork. Vitali has better mental focus in fights and makes better decisions in the ring. Foe example Wlad has fear installed in him from being ko'd before. This is painfully obvious to watch in his fights against outmatched opponents.
Vitali therefore has a confidence that Wlad will never had and it allows him to loosen up and try things in the ring that have to be considered skillfull like evading punches with considered head movement.
Hes no Mayweather but then agaon he's 6'8 Floyd ain't.

Vitali is clearly the more instinctiv and more natural gifted bro. He is a natural fighter while Wlad is someone who had to learn it all out of a schoolbook.

    I voted for Vitali.

It's clear as day that Віта́лій Володи́мирович Кличко́ would beat and shatter the glass mandible of Володи́мир Володи́мирович Кличко́
