Hattons MO is the hug and mug. He pushes forward with his head, gets in any headlock he can get, and hits to the back of the head alot. . . What was different about this fight???? Mayweather stuffed an elbow in his mug to block that torpedo of a skull coming in towards him. . He held when hatton got close enough to break down his body. . Mayweather took Hattons best game plan. . neutralized it, used it against him, and beat him with good old fashion Mayweather accurate punches and countering. . Check Mate
i see BOTH doing the hold but i see mayweather doing more holding and ELBOW this was a boring fight untill round 10 mayweather will never be beaten hes a beast cotto dont want some of mayweather noway
thats the thing. . If mayweather just let hatton come in with his head and got a cut. . everyone would just say "do something about it" well, the elbow may not exactly be legal. . but lets just say. . he did something about it

Both fought dirty but only 1 was pulled up repeatedly by the ref who had an absolute shocker. That said though Mayweather is just better than Hatton (and everyone else for that matter) Hatton wasnt stronger may have more stamina (but Mayweather doesnt waste any punches) and simply isnt in Mayweathers league when it comes to ability. The ref had a shocker, the scoring was dreadful but all that said Mayweather would have won this fight regardless. Hes too good for Hatton but theres little shame in that
