It's too hard to say. I'm 5'8.5" and my current optimal weight is 158. However, people who have been around Mike Tyson all say he's really only 5'8" and his best fighting weight was 217. So it varies per individual. Tyson was built like a tank. I'm built like Roy Jones (skeletal build only). You've also got to look at whether you are an endo, ecto or meso build.

Start by fighting at the lightest weight your body can handle while still maintaining strength and endurance. At some point, with experience, you will discover at which weight your muscles are most efficient. If you are of a medium build, I'd say that at 5'9" you should be able to get down to 135 or 140 fighting weight (probably re-hydrating to 150 or so).

I have to say I would go lighter. 126 to a max of 154. When I fought at 139 I never fought a shorter man, and I was 5'7". I fought a few guys that were almost 6 foot? It is a real advantage.

yes it all depends on the persons build, i mean tyson was only 5'11 i think and he was a heavyweight and thats only 2 inches above the 5'9.
then again mark breland boxed at welter and wasnt he around 6'2.
everyone is different and muscle weighs more than fat so a muscley guy of 5'9 will i imagine boxing at around middle/super middle. a smaller frame at around lightweight to light middle.

This depends on the person and their own physical build. You can have cruisers at 5'9'' and welters at 5'11''!

It all depends on frame, so I don't feel comfortable giving out a weight range without actually seeing that. It could literally be anything from 130 to Cruiser.
