He met with Jerruh Jones to discuss about hosting the fight at Cowboys stadium...

If 147 Ouma could give GGG a rough fight
Imagine what Canelo will do to Genna?!

    Beatdown coming Sep 2016!

All that proves is that Canelo is going to fight later this year.

Do you really believe Oscar will let El Pollo anywhere near GGG ?? ROFLMAO
If he does the charade is over. When the great Mexican boxing fans start calling one of their own El Pollo then you know theres something wrong

nah. they're gunna vacate the belt.

tho it'll be difficult. the backlash will be unbelievable and there isn't much opponents to keep him busy till next may without risking losing or just being a nonppv. Losing would ruin the ggg fight (aka huge financial loss) and they don't want to take canelo off PPV. So, they seem to be in a bit of a bind to me.

It'd be BETTER for them to take in September. It really would. Not just from a fan POV either.

Canelo's not going to take no for an answer. It's not De la Hoya's image that gets wrecked if Alvarez-GGG falls through and Canelo vacates.

I'm not sure why people still play the "Canelo is so protected, he'll never fight (insert fighter's name here)!" card. It hasn't turned out to be true yet. At all. Yet, it keeps getting played no matter how many times Canelo's proven them wrong.

I see no reason to not give him the benefit of the doubt here. The fight will happen. Period.

He's in good company. All of boxing was ducking Ward. All those fight offers that Andre declined over 3 and a half years or so were just bluffing, and Ward was clever enough to see through the whole lot of 'em.

I'm open minded about wether thid fight will happen or not. Wouldn't be surprised either way

If it does happen does Canelo do better than Lemieux, Murray, Stevens, Ouma?
