Haye does what is necessary to hype his fights but half the people on ESB take it far too literally?

Reading between the lines of this thread: Haye is a tosser but we should all forgive him.

Wit? Ever see Letterman host the Oscars? Well, Haye is about 1/100th as funny as that.

Irony? If only it were. Simply saying "I am ****ing amazing and all my opponents are dicks. But I had my fingers crossed, so seriously I am really humble and just being ironic" is bordering on ******ed.

Hype? So we forgive anything if it is to hype a fight? It looks like Haye's Gays do.

There is almost nothing to like about Haye, and a shitload to dislike. Are Brits so damned desperate for boxing heros that they will continue to polish this turd and bleat that it really, truly is gold?

See, it is nice to see some people from Britain who can be objective about this guy. There aren't many of you sane folk, it's a pleasure to read your post.

Without posts like yours the entire Isles would seem to be crazy.

Why does Haye bother you so much?
I don't usually read his interviews so I don't know what he's said thats so bad.

Wow, first time anyone ever accused KCD of being objective about David Haye. You should be warned he's liable to take it as an insult...

Haye talks too much and he hasn't really done anything. Didn't he get ko'd by some dude nobody knows and was on the canvas against Mormeck and Barrett? Then talked a bunch of **** to Vitali and pulled out of the fight. He needs to fight Adamek!! Hell, he needs to fight someone who has a chance.

Unified titles at cruiser? he hasn't done anything?

He did get Ko'd by Carl Thompson at cruiser to be fair. But he has recovered well enough and I think he beats Vitali next year after Ruiz.
