Would you write it off as PAC being shot, or does Thurman deserve credit for a W considering how many people are picking against him?

It's a tricky question. I've been watching some Thurman fights lately and he's not the best suited to fight Pacman, but I expect his youth, size and power to be too much for Pacquaio at this stage.

So, I wouldn't give him too much credit, unless he wins a total war.

I want Pacquaio to win. I expect Thurman to take it.

Pacquiao is 40, almost 41. Thurman only wins due to age.

If it goes the distance, then based on Pac's punch output would determine for me. If it drops significantly and is not due to a mobile Thurman, than I'd give zero credit if he beats Pac.

Pac's output has been sporadic, meaning he throws less against mobile counter punchers than a standing plodding Margarito or Clottey where he threw 1000 plus shots...IMO wasn't the result of a Primed Pac, rather guys who stood in front of him. If you don't clinch, run or counter, Pac throws the kitchen sink. If Keith does move a lot, I expect a low punch out put because of styles, not age.

500 punches thrown against Broner in 12 rounds---yet Pacquiao managed to throw 344 punches in 7 round against Mathysse.

Last, I don't really consider Pac worn out due to ring wars as he hasn't been hurt IMO since JMM which was 2012. I think his training/sparring may have a greater impact on him being worn out.

If KT KO's him? eh! JMM did it. If he outboxes him, thoroughly then I'd wager he would have outboxed Pac at any stage & give full credit.

Pac's wins were/are due to him being a whirlwind walking tsunami, not a virtuoso sweet science performer.
and 40 is the new 30!

Pac is still a top welterweight so I’d give him credit.

Probably Thurman's 2nd best win and a victory over a top 5 welter, plenty of credit. I have my doubts though...

Thurman fighting against a 40 yo 5'5" welterweight. He SHOULD win this. Would be an OK victory (we are not going to go crazy cause he does what he should do)

If he loses he should go back to the cave where he's been hiding and stay there forever.

Normally I’d be incredibly impressive but lets remember Thurman was dog**** in his last fight

Depends on how he wins. If Thurman wins by disputed decision probably not much, unless it's a barn burner... both men get credit if that's the case.

If Pac looks old and Thurman does just enough to win... no credit given.
