I'm very confident on Shane's punching power along with his speed and punching accuracy. Many people disregard that Shane took his time against Margo, punched long and sharp, clinched effectively whenever he needed to and skipped a lot of long leads with good head and feet movement. I don't think Shane needs anything more but to show some disrespect and to jump on this guy right away. Don't get into chess games, hook out of the jab, overhand right everytime, double hook to the body in close, clinch and mess him up. BTW, my favourites fights are against Jesse James Leija, Golden Johnson, Wilfredo Rivera, Oscar De La Hoya at the Staples, second fight against Vargas, Margarito and the very best still to come!

I am watching those Shane's fights tapes that Floyd's people must be focusing on - the losses to Winky Wright - and let's make this case for Mosley: Floyd can never fight the fight Winky fought! Floyd would have to develop a shell, get inside the distance and look for a open Shane Mosley tryin to load up with hooks and time him on the short moves with short lefts and rights off that defensive shell... Floyd doesn't have the strength to stay and fight that close with a big, strong man like Shane... Then, let's go to the Cotto fight and think how well can Floyd outjab Shane from the distance - Floyd will have to make Shane respect him with the big powerpunches Cotto hit Shane with or else, the jab's not gonna work a win by itself.

that cotto fight, i must even admit as one of the biggest shane fans, shane look like ****.

but apparetnly shane was having nose issues and coud not breathe properly, that is what jack mosley said. but that is a fighter simply having a bad night.

Shane didn't look like ****. Even Floyd mentioned him and Cotto as great fighters when asked about Cotto after that Hatton fight. Shane said he had a bad night, kinda felt carrying a ****** on his back after the first Winky fight. Against Cotto, he threw as much powerpunches as Cotto who is much stronger and more powerful than Floyd, and Shane only started boxing from mid round five, so until that point it was a seesaw battle... Shane's age could have talked louder then but I don't believe Floyd is gonna fight like Cotto did against Shane in that first half of the fight.

Anybody with any respect for boxing has. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is my favorite fighter of all-time with the possible exception of Ray Leonard. If I was to find out today that Floyd used PEDs in ANY of his fights I would discredit his entire career in a heartbeat. Samething goes for Margarito, IMO.
