Easily a blown up version nearly beat him, imagine a prime DLH... it wouldn't even be close.

Pernell would be clowning mayweather, Tito would be making him run like a chicken and hold on to dear life, mosely would have beat that ass.

Your whole problem is your thinking of a prime Oscar in the ring with the same version of Floyd on the night they fought. And all that crap in that last paragraph proves you have no regard whatsoever for just how skillful Floyd is therefore the end result is YDKSAB.

Oscar DID stay with the jab, he just stopped landing it.

    It's what Floyd does.

I think it's clear Oscar wins.

Whitaker a little past prime > Mayweather. Oscar had an even fight with Whitaker.
Oscar had the style to beat Mayweather, he just gassed out a little due to age which allowed Mayweather to take control.
Oscar would have 116-112 Mayweather, but Oscar would have won his rounds more so on aggression added to Oscar being able to land a clean hard blow each round.

Mosley gave Oscar fits in his prime. Same with Sweet Pea. Mayweather equaled Sweet Pea's craftiness and Mosley's speed at the lower weights.

I think Oscar would win 147+ and Floyd the lower weights. It would likely be a split if they fought three times.

Younger Oscar with faster hands beats Floyd Period . There fight in 2007 spoke volumes . Although Floyd made Oscar miss the majority of all his flurries , which we do have to credit Floyd for doing . Everynow and then Oscar was getting threw and connecting on Floyd . He manage to make Floyd uncomfortable at times, made Floyd respect him , backed him up . Outjabb him , Rocked him pretty good a few times . (As an example, that beautiful shot Goldenboy landed on Floyd against the ropes at the end of rnd 11) I scored the fight 116-112 for Floyd . Prime for Prime . Floyd loses 116-112 .
