    not a chance
i dont see the big deal about oscar like a lot of people do

    HOF fighter, yes
but he lost the biggest fights of his career

floyd and oscar prime for prime wouldn't have fought that heavy for a start
oscar was easy to hit, floyd UD

Was robbed in the trinidad, lost to cheating mosley and k.od by a much bigger bernard hopkins when he was already a part time fighter.

if oscar really wanted he could have avoided tough challenges and trick people into thinking that he is the greatest.

Oscar was never outclassed in his prime and never lost clearly and was robbed on 2 occasions. Oscar beats floyd easy.

i agree in the trinidad fight and i also agree that oscar fought tough fights
but anyone who thinks floyd has avoided tough challenges is dreaming

the pac fight will always be a black mark on both of their resumes, but apart from that floyd has been so dominant over all his opponents, more or less

but oscar was not a part time fighter when he fought bernard
he chased another mosley and tito fight before moving up to MW, but skipped those fights because neither fighter wanted to get paid less against a fighter they had already beat

oscar beating floyd "easy" is not on the radar

Oscar clearly lost to Shane Mosley in the first fight. He also clearly lost to Sturm in my opinion.

I discredit every mosley win against Oscar. Shane went up to 147 from 135. I honestly believe shane might have been juicing in their first fight as well.

Oscar was that ticket that everybody wanted to stardom. At that time people were willing to do anything to beat oscar.

Oscar in my opinion is a bit underrated and very unappreciated.

It's very possible that he was. We don't know for 100% though.

Oscar is underrated in the sense that he consistently fought the best. People don't really appreciate that. He also could give anyone serious problems. My only issue with Oscar is that he lost to many big fights and his lapses. A case can be made that he lost to a coked up Whitaker. A case can also be made that he lost to Quartey. He ran in the championship rounds against Tito for no reason. Mosley out boxed him while he was up in the fight. Sturm clearly out boxed him in my opinion. If Oscar won these fights then he would be viewed in a much better light. He was still a great fighter and a hall of famer.

Accept for a crippling offence and real elite power, can't throw combinations and is obsessed with single punch computerised amateur styled boxing.

No, Floyd wins 115-113 type of decision, if Oscar jabbed consistently he could have won, but he has never done that in a fight, at some point he would just start to follow floyd around without throwing anything.

he also had a great jab. Basically everything that he did with that left hand was great.

Floyd has elite offense. He can literally throw every punch in the book. He just doesn't knock people out.

Oscar from the Trinidad fight would've been a rough go for Mayweather that's for sure.

You think Oscar could out box Floyd? Tito got out boxed because he can't handle boxers.
