That's what we are all meant to think. It's PPV so they have to choose the opponent wisely.
Prescott is an unknown/unbeaten Columbian with a high KO ratio. Perfect choice to whip people up into a PPV frenzy. Is he honestly as dangerous as his record suggests? If he was, then Khan wouldn't be allowed anywhere near him.
Remember, this isn't a career topping mega fight for Khan, it's just the start of a potential string of PPVs. If Khan were to lose against this unknown novice, it's all over.

This Prescott guy has virtually no chance whatsoever. Trust me on this.

The only "PPV frenzy' being whipped up is people who are mad about it being PPV. I really think this is going to bomb, the boxing fans won't buy it and its just not a big enough fight for the casual fans (who arn't all as stupid as some people think!).

As a PPV event I actually believe this will be extremely successful. Khan has been a household name since the 2004 Olympics. He has been hyped beyond belief, and people have got used to watching him fight on ITV. The casual fans have been hooked in and will pay for this event in their droves.

As for the boxing fans, there's already been a fair few people on here who have said they will pay for it. Many plan to pay for it, but won't openly admit it. Many say they won't pay, but will change their mind come fight night. It's human nature.

Closer to fight time there will be talk of how this Prescott guy is well up for it, and has looked fantastic in training. So called "people in the know" will spread the word that a potential upset is on the cards unless Khan is in top form. This will ensure a boost in PPV sales, and the event will be a massive success.

We'll see, the figures will be interesting. If the take up is good then Warren has his mandate to make every Khan fight a PPV.

Thats the way I see it. Virtually no one is talking about this fight. I'm the fight fanatic in my family/ crowd who are all sports/ casual boxing fans and nobody is mentioning it to me like they do with the big fights.
