For the sake of British Boxing Khan has to LOSE!

    Amir Khan has been chatting a lot recently. Chatting down on Kotelnik, an established fighter with a solid resume; certainly one Khan could only dream of (and if those dreams became tangible you can be sure they would quickly turn into nightmares). Chatting about fights with Hatton, Marquez and Mayweather; ignoring the fact these three are multiple weight world champs with lineages, P4P rankings and epic wars under their belts. Khan has done NOTHING to warrant a fight with those three, even if he beats Kotelnik those fights are undeserved.

    The only thing that needs to come out of his fight with Kotelnik is another (preferably KO) loss for Khan for THE SAKE OF BRITISH BOXING.

    Here are the reasons:

    -Khan is fraudulent bum who is RIPPING OFF the casual boxing fan and SHIELDING them from exposure to true warriors such as Carl 'The Cobra' Froch.

    I mean come on! £15 for a PPV for Khan? I know some posters on here pay it. Feel free to own up to it, but I don't blame you if you don't. WHAT HAS HE DONE? I SAY AGAIN, WHAT HAS HE DONE?

    The answer to that is NOTHING. The ONLY TIME HE FOUGHT A LEGITIMATE LIGHTWEIGHT (who is a C-level fighter) he was beaten INSIDE OF ONE MINUTE. Not only that but the KO was ONE OF THE MOST BRUTAL IN RECENT MEMORY. All this for £15! What a DISGRACE.

    He takes the spotlight away from the TRUE WARRIORS of BRITISH BOXING such as Froch and Haye. But they are HYPE JOBS TOO I hear you cry!

    Never! Froch and Haye have built everything with blood, sweat and tears. Working their way up. Waiting for their shots. Both have been rewarded because of their skills and heart. Do they get £15 for a PPV? No. Do they deserve it? No. They deserve double that with the entertaining BATTLES they get themselves into.

    - He is DISRESPECTFUL and ARROGANT.

    Yes, Haye is arrogant but it's in an amusing way and he has the UNDISPUTED champion moniker to back it up. Froch is DIRESPECTFUL to his opponents when the time calls for it, see 'The only time you put me to sleep is watching a few of your middleweight defenses' for evidence.

    Khan is PURE ARROGANCE.

    REMEMBER, 2 fights ago (one bum and shot former legend in a N/C) he was STARCHED but an UKNOWN BUM. Now he is talking about fights with Mayweather, Marquez and Hatton? GTFO. Some people call him a 'warrior'. I say those people are deluded. Getting hit in the head once by a bum and crumbling to the floor does not make you a warrior even if you get back up, especially if you then literally take a nap through the post fight particulars.

    - He is STEALING TV exposure from TRUE CHAMPS.

    An extension of the above point. Froch and Haye find it hard to get on British TV and this BUM is taking up airtime?

    A DISGRACE TO BRITISH BOXING and a DISGRACE TO WORLD BOXING.

    Words of advice for Khan:
    -Rematch Prescott.
    -When you are KOed again:
    -Shut the **** up.

    Look for Kotelnik to END the HYPE TRAIN AGAIN.

    khan is a good boxer,but he has a glass jaw.froch has a solid jaw but would never win an elite boxer on points, so would have to stop them.
    neither are a complete boxer,so if you are going to curse khan you might as well curse froch too.

    I don't agree that it would it help British Boxing, Kahn is gifted boxer who has helped increase a flagging sport's profile in the UK, he even runs a gym for disadvantaged kids in Bolton. If he wins there is the trickle down effect intorducing fresh blood to the sport and of other young fighters getting exposure on his undercards.

    You are mistaking his confidence for arrogance and forgetting that this confidence is essential to a fighter.

    Give credit where it's due, sure Kahn got KTFO but he didn't hide and took his defeat like a man not making stupid excuses á la Enzo Macc. You seem to have an unhealthy obsession with weak chinned fighters - was Hearns a disgrace to boxing?

    There's something really wrong with you.

    I've paid for a ticket to the fight in Manchester. Which also means i've paid for travel and accommodation. So quite a lot. But that isn't just for Khan. It's for him and the rest of the bill which is excellent. I'm getting to see Kell Brook, Hall, Enzo and the Olympians as well as Khan. So that's 6 of the best British boxing prospects around (sorry Enzo). i went to see his TD against Barrera in Manc too. It should have been a NC but it was still a great night of boxing with Enzo, Nicky Cook and Hall/Pryce all fighting. So that's two great cards in a row. And the whole reason cards like that can be made is cos of the 'hype job' Amir Khan. Well, long may it continue...

    Alot of what he said was true it really is an absolute disgrace that real established world champs like Froch and Haye can barely get on TV Froch especially while having really built there way up from the bottom more or less by themselves without a really big name promoter like Frank Warren guiding them and building them up as a boxing superstar while beating up journeymen and getting on PPV.
