How is any of that Khan's fault personally? Your anti-Khan agenda is truly pathetic.

I'm struggling and failing to understand how Khan losing would lead to more people watching Carl Froch fight...

Nothing to worry about. As soon as somebody hits Khan square on the chin, he's hitting the deck out cold again. Just a matter of time.

At the 2004 Olympics Khan brought a lot of exposure to the sport globally. He deserves credit for that.

He got stopped in one of the most decisive ways imaginable, but he got off his arse and came back. He deserves credit for that.

He changed his physique and style to address his flaws. He deserves credit for that.

He has great speed and an entertaining style. He deserves credit for that.

I totally agree that Froch and Haye deserve more exposure, esp since both are entertaining and Haye is one of the most entertaining, daring and successful (three belts in a division plus Ring equals successful, whatever some posters might claim) boxers in the sport. But that ain't his fault.

He knows his chin is glass, but is going to try to succeed despite that flaw. Credit to him. Maybe he makes it, maybe he doesn't.

however, I would like to see a rematch with Prescott within the next year.

As for the arrogance, I sense Khan, Froch, and Haye all say their garbage with some real humour. Haye, in particular, I find extremely amusing with some of the asides about making himself look like a tw@. In fact, I think all three are more self-aware than Calzaghe and Hatton.

Lets face it, from a balanced perspective, Khan has cleaned up his act in the last 8 months or so since his defeat to Bredis Prescott.

Im not the guy's biggest fan, I think he is a complete douche who has got to the top by fighting mostly bums - bums no one know - bums who are fighting for a lot less than a sandwich - with no bread. Frank Warren carefully picked Khan's way to the summit of boxing and quite rightly like most say, he has not really earned the chance to fight the best because he hasnt beat the best.

His defeat of Barrera was a bit of a farce and there should have been a rematch. In the fight it was clear once the headbutt had occured, Khan knew Barerra was shredded and was unlikely to be able to fight back and he proceeded to knock seven shades of **** out of him. He had no clear test and I paid the £15 ppv fee in the hope we would have seen a Barrera Flash KO Fight Night Style.

His complete brash disregard of Kotelnik is also ****ing annoying and rather egotistical to say the least. Talking of 'who's next?' is rather disrespectful to a fighter who didnt have to fight him and could have fufilled a mandatory defence elsewhere. Should Kotelnik catch his shiny glass chin or KO him early, Khan will look pretty stupid and its likely he will be regarded as nothing than a complete joke and yep, a mighty douche.

    Having said this...

The best thing Khan did when he lost to Prescott was to hire Freddy Roach. This was a stroke of genius and although his fight against Barrera was pretty shoddy, the early rounds showed an immediate improval. Roach is probably the best trainer on the planet at the moment and would not be overly confident for a reason. He is well aware of Khan's lack of punch resistance but it seems in the way he talks that he may have found a way round it. Also, gone are the hangers' on and the family which have distracted Khan and kept him in the comfort zone. Being solely in LA training and running up mountains Rocky style will only help to toughen him up and make him want to win. Shame Pacquiao cant get rid of his hangers' on and entourage - he's be ****ing terrifying having spent all that time training one on one and being away from the comfort of his yes men.

The Kotelnik fight will probably define Khan's career.

A win will see him in Las Vegas against a bigger opponent, maybe even at Wembley Stadium, London against Ricky Hatton.

Lose, and he won't even get on Audley Harrison's undercards. I hope he loses, otherwise the Ego really will have landed - £15 will still have been worth it.

Thats the exact point. ITTT is a disgrace not HEE is a disgrace.. He's just lucky he got with Frankie boy - the bug eyed gahba certainly knows how to promote.. Amir is just doing what anyone of us would - try to get the biggest fights, for the most money, as quick as he can... Fair play to him :)

  10. I beg your pardon, apologies for the above.

He is a Glass Jawed Fraud. I was too generous.

If you don't want to pay then don't. I hope Khan smashes Kotelnik then shattered glass will have to make more excuses and waste his miserable days re-studying Khan to give his hate analysis, you need to stop claiming JSA and wasting your time.

Look, if Khan wins, then he deserves the perks that go with winning a belt, including moving on to a bigger, better paying fight.
If Khan loses, then he goes back to the drawing board.
Thats as fair as it gets.
If you're offended by Khan, then don't watch the fight.
If you are a Khan fan, enjoy and root for him.
    Next case?
