Carl Froch to knock Mikkel Kessler out late.

Tomasz Adamek to TKO Cris Arreola late (ref intervention).

Please vote and explain your choice :bbb

Adamek wins a decision, IMO. Arreola has a fundamentally good enough defence to avoid getting stopped, has a good chin and won't stop punching back, so I don't see Adamek getting a stoppage. Adamek is faster, more accurate and the more intelligent fighter, and should turn Arreola effectively and dominate most of the exchanges.

Kessler to stop Froch at some point with a 1-2 to the point of the jaw. Froch's poor fundamentals will let him down (I've been saying this for some time now to no avail), but Kessler has the right blend of power, chin and skill to mix it up with him successfully.

The interesting thing is that there's an element of mystery to both fights - we don't know how well Adamek can take a HW punch, whether he'll be discplined enough to avoid big exchanges; we don't know how much Kessler has left. I'm not 100% sure about either of my picks!

Me neither, though I feel more sure of a Froch win than an Adamek one. I don't rate Arreola at all really, but there remains an element of doubt about Adamek's ability to take a full-blooded shot from a big fat ******* of a heavyweight. Still, I'm backing him to wear Arreola down with his workrate and have Cris all out of gas and resistance at some point within the last couple of rounds. I think Froch is a better fighter than he often portrays because he loves getting into a scrap and ensuring an exciting fight. Ultimately, Kessler is a pretty one-dimensional fighter and always has been. I think Froch can find a way to beat him, and his power and heart carry him to a dramatic stoppage victory.

    Should be two great fights!

Kessler by KO and Arreola by KO.

Adamek doesn't have the power to keep arreola off of him. Adamek is a basic good boxer but arreola doesn't fight stupid enough to just get out boxed by adamek without doing enough damage to Knock him out. Arreola by KO inside 6

Kessler will be landing the straight right hand far more frequently than froch landing his which will lead to kessler wearing froch down and stopping froch when froch becomes fustrated and starts reaching. Froch doesn't have the speed, talent, or style to give a solid tactition like kessler trouble. Froch is gonna get bombed on and treated like any other of kessler's opponents that lacked speed and talent. I hope he's ready because he's bout to get a humble pie smashed on his face.

Unless Kessler is completely past it, I think he'll take out Froch in the later rounds. I am going to see Arreola-Adamek, and I like Arreola in a barn burner. I think Adamake will start off boxing and win the first few rounds, but at somepoint he will get caught with a good punch, and he will revert to his brawling past, which will lose him the fight.

The weigh-in weights only strengthen my belief that Adamek will be victorious this evening...
