    Cotto was never going to be Trinidad, he simply isn't as good, period.

    That said, I can't see how this night hurts Cotto's reputation since he beat Mosley.

    You could say that Cotto beat Mosley.

    I agree with you that Cotto shouldn't have been called "the next Trinidad" or something similar, but one fighter that Cotto beat dominated a fighter that Cotto lost to. In the end, I don't see any big marks against him because of that. Mosley obviously does better against the style of Margarito than Cotto, that doesn't change the fact that Cotto beat Mosley.

    He beat Mosley and its possible Marg cheated againest him.

    The truth is, Mosely took it to Margo's ass in a way that Cotto didn't know how. Period.

    Mosley gets full credit. The man is a special fighter, and he not only knew what to do against Margarito, which Cotto did not, but he was able to execute that gameplan, and I'm not so sure Cotto would be able to. Shane's a great fighter. But this doesn't really diminish Cotto in my view.

    Mosley deserves lots of credit, and he is getting it.

    Got **** all to do with Cotto, and even less to do with Tito though.
