Booked mine this morning. Hoping a couple of hennessy lads will be flown over. Murray maybe? As they found out last time, the mexicans come to fight, and come to win!

Murray's name rarely gets mentioned on ESB.

I think he is an excellent all rounder and underrated by many.

I like him as a boxer and hope he succeeds.

Murray made a mistake joining hennessy IMO, his career was going just fine, does anyone think he's fallen off the radar slightly over the past 12 months?

I'd love to see him in with Khan but don't think it will happen.

He just doesn't get the coverage unfortunately.

He is meant to be fighting Dean Hickman on the 9th Nov for the vacant English Lightweight Title.

    Very clever Oscar.

Get desperate brits without Hatton tickets to pay 125$ (!) to watch fighter who would never usually command such fees.

You also have 2 other options, pay $75 (30 quid) or don't bother going - its not compulsory....

Im happy paying £60 for floor ringside seats at the MGM. The going rate for ringside at small hall / leisure centre shows is £75! So these kids do actualy command such fee's anyway, exacty how much do you think people pay to go to small hall shows btw?
If John Murray headlined a small leisure centre show with no TV coverage in manchester a ticket would be £35, or £75 ringside.

To be honest, if this event was an hour or two hours away charging £75 or £30 I'd go, so why wouldnt I when im in vegas anyway. Especially considering it's a great opportunity to see young UK fighters in a proper fight, not one of the mexicans involved will want to lose.

never really progressed after getting that wbc youth title. the domestic route would have given him more exposure.

I wouldnt say its terribly unfair. Wins young boxer of the year and to be fair had a real challenge when fighting Mendoza. Next thing he's taken a backwards step in fighting billy smith twice (once in his 19th fight!!) and although he got good exposure and nice words from DLH the reality was it was untelevised on both sides of the water (when was his second vegas fight??).

Needs to step up and secure an impressive win.

Have you spoke to Joh about fighting in Vegas? Is he due there for the friday fights?
Personally I dont share your enthusiasm for the kid, he's a great talent without being exceptional. He does everything well without doing it superbly (superbly - is that a word?).

At 22 theres a long way to go, and lots to work on. Good luck to him!! His brother could eclipse him, couldnt he?

Id like to see a bit more of him but what ive seen has been pretty good. Anyone think he may lack a bit of power? his KO record aint too impressive.
