I knew it was a **** prediction, but crazy things happen sometimes.

    I also picked
    Rigo over Donaire
    J Gonzalez over Mares
    Salido over Juanma
    Salido over Loma
    Bradley over Marquez
    Trout over Cotto
    Maidana over Broner

    So I got c0cky:yep:yep

I only said Murray is more durable, i.e. never been stopped. Rubio been KO'd 3 times.

But not powerful or fit, and that I'm afraid will be his undoing against Golovkin. You can't take minutes of rounds off against GGG like Alvarez does and if Perro can walk through his shots, best believe Golovkin can.

I'm not convinced he even beats Cotto.

Can't help but notice Rubio is being highly overrated ever since the fight got signed.

After Lemieux (who was never top 10 himself), Rubio really doesn't have too many relevant victories. Certainly never beaten a top 10 contender and the best guys he has beaten, other than Lemeiux, weren't even likely on the list of top "fringe contenders" either.

Twice early in his career when he was inexperienced, the other time was a corner stoppage he wasn't hurt against another big puncher Pavlik, he stood up to the power of Pavlik Lemieux and 1000's of punches from Julio was barely shook by any of them, Murray has never fought a big puncher like that other than Sergio who was injured for the majority of their fight and he still hurt Murray late.

I never saw Murray hurt in that fight. Rubio has been knocked out twice and he quit against Pavlik so he doesn't get credit for that as he might well have been stopped. I'll take Murray as the more durable of the two at this point.

At this point I don't see another middleweight who has the chin, style or power to unseat GGG. Ward could possibly beat Golovkin becuase he has the athleticism, style and size to make it a very difficult fight for triple G. He is a special fighter but still unproven. He has trouble getting top level guys to take a chance to see if the hype is real or an illusion.

Stevens outboxed who? certainly not Golovkin. Movement doesn't do **** against GGG, if anything you need to force him onto his backfoot.

I'm not sure what your getting at Canelo is a strong fighter and didn't show sign of stamina issues vs Angulo or Lara. Canelo is a patient boxer-puncher by nature and in the fight with Angulo, Al got completely dominated most fighters get sturdier as the grow naturally towards there real weight and GGG's style isn't what we've seen give Nelo problems style wise Gennandy comes to fight so he may be better suited for his style than recent opponents like Trout/Lara who's gameplan was to basically jab and run.

Maybe it's like how you constantly overrate Mayweather opposition? :conf

Maidana's best wins was over complete hype and fringe contenders, lost to anyone above C Level he's ever faced, yet he's a CONSENSUS TOP5 WW, despite the fact he was shut out by Alexander at the weight.

He said he "got caught". It's not what we take to mean "hurt" when we're discussing fighters. Hurt means ready to go, like Froch was in the first round v Groves. At no point was Murray in that situation against Martinez.

Where did that come from and what relevance does it have here?

Yes, Maidana was a consensus top 5 WW when Floyd signed to fight him the first go around and no, Rubio has never been a fringe-top 5 of any division ever...

I don't see your point. Feel free to clarify what you're saying about Golovkin here.
