Weird European combination ... comes with the straight jab, right cross, then throws that damn jab again with the same force as the right cross. Its so dope.

Great balance for a 6'8 guy ... great footwork and footspeed ... great hand speed and unbelieveable power.

If that actually happened, then clearly Vitali would be the better fighter head to head.

But as it stands in reality, Chris Byrd is 1-0 vs Vitali Klitschko and is therefore superior in head-to-head results.

Why did you even need to ask that? It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of facts.

Who are you talking about now?

    It's clearly not Vitali because...
    - he isn't 6'8"
    - he had average footwork and footspeed
    - his handspeed that could be considered good for someone his size but not great, and not even good if you don't consider his size
    - his power is good but certainly not "unbelieveable". He usually beeds a bazillion flush shots to put his opponent down

I assume you are talking about the imaginary Vitali that exists in the minds of his nuthuggers. You know, the one that is really undefeated and "coulda woulda shoulda" beat everyone ever.

Vitali's strengths are his extraordinary reflexes, underated defense, exceptional countering, bad intentions in every punch, unique combination throwing & an iron chin. He has an ATG KO percentage and has only 2 losses due to injury, the man has never been down in a professional boxing match.

Yes he has a granite chin I suppose,, He faced a power guy in sanders and lewis,, but has it really been tested in two fights????? The uppercut he took from lewis was great but can you deem it granite in two fights? The KO percentage looks great also but look at the fighters on his record. I do not think Vitali is bad or anything I think he is a badass myself,,, but the record of fighters is not that great right?

Vitali only partially realized his potential. His early fight were against B rated fighters no doubt but his fights against Lewis, Johnson, Sanders & Williams were all in a row. It could be argued that he has more but those are his best.

Vitali has great balance for a big guy ... he is 6'8 ... I know he towered over Lennox Lewis who is a legit 6'5 ...

For his size ... guys that big usually have poor balance, slow footed, aren't as mobile, slow hand speed, and overall are considered gumpy ... thats why there aren't many elite HW that big.

His power is unbelieveable ... his jab is very good and his right hand is very good and I like that combination that some of those russian fighters have when they finish the combination with a straight punch instead of a hook like most Americans are accustom too.

He's never been knocked down ... is a two-time HW champion ... lost only two fights and both were on a technicality ... and he has a KO ratio thats around 95% ...

So you don't have to be a hugger to appreciate a resume like that ... and too actually see him box is good too - because he's a boxer/puncher ... not a power puncher w/ limited skill.

You look at alot of guys at the HW division who are over 6'6 and their balance is poor and they have sloppy technique.
