Rios is an exciting fighter, but he needs to fight at 140 or quit!

he does need to move up, abril's style and weight problems had a lot to do with his terrible performance

Between Abril's holding and Brandon throwing shots while it was happening and they don't understand why two of the judges were vomiting on their score cards and giving rounds to Rios? Abril just bought himself a ticket to NOWHERE in professional boxing. The networks don't want this type of stink on their airwaves. He'll be lucky to make lunch money for fights.

Stop making excuses for "BUMBUM" rios. He cant stay at 135 and he sure as hell cant compete with the elite at 140.....He better join the ranks of Mr. Capone and his crew and become a gangbanger or some ****....:silly

Yeah, sometimes you have to deal with people who use different tactics. This isn't Amirland where styles that make you uncomfortable shouldn't be allowed. Rios lost. He couldn't adjust.

i'm not off the wagon yet. win, lose or draw, i'll be a bam bam fan.

but i'm pretty ashamed of his ring IQ and his lack of ability to adjust. he can't keep on saying "**** it, this is how I fight." or it'll be a short career. i was hoping he would come off a string of decisive victories so when it does come down to him meeting ortiz, it'll be a blockbuster of a match.

but honestly, abril did what he had to do to win, which was clinch, run and be a *****. because if he came to fight for reals, brandon would've tapped that ass.

abril occasionally held. But nowhere near as much as most fighters.

Alot of the times he was able to just stay in the pocket like at the start of the video, and still not get hit.

The worst types of holding are in alexander maidana and mosley margo, where a boxer uses quick hands to get the punch off first, and then will grab on.

Abril didn't do that at all. Rios was the one bumbling in from a distance

Rios should hang them up. An absolute disgrace.
