It happens all the time in boxing but most fighters would rather win legit than act it out to get a dq.Lost count the amount of fights i have seen with the exact same scenario as last night bar the dq.
Dirrell saw the easy win and took it rather than risk anything I don't blame him but wish he hadn't.

    I was here.

    The AA DQ was just.

    despite dirrell acting.

Margo should of been DQed or at least Cotto got time to recover.

    There are rules in boxing.
Because sometimes rules are being disregarded doesnt mean that always should be ignored.
Doing something wrong twice doesnt make it right

Good on you mate. I was angry at the time that more wasn't made of Margo blatantly striking Cotto when Miguel was on one knee. He should have had the 5 minutes to recover for that for sure.

Hit him while down and you are disqualified, that's the rule.

But surely, a "proud *******" has to know that!

so did barrera when marquez was down.. who gives a **** at all.

sure, abraham hit him with some force behind it and he might have been hurt. but dirrell's acting plus all the crying about abraham being a cheat is way off the line.

also, i won't get tired of mentioning this..

You failed to miss the point.

So if a fighter cant proceed after getting hit while still down then it should be an automatic DQ? Whats to prevent blatant acting?
