For those saying Pacquaio will blow Marquez easy post here...

I think the first few solid shots Pacquiao lands will affect the way this fight is fought by Marquez. Whether he handles the power well or not I dont see Marquez being as aggressive with his combinations but he may load up on 2 or 3 punch combos with a little more power than the 4 or 5 punch combos we've seen before from him.

I see Marquez taking a chance early by planting his feet and trying to get as much power as he can on his counter punches in an attempt to buzz Manny.

However, I do think Pacquiao will have too much Power, when he catches Marquez this time, whatever round it may be, I think he stops him.

Pac wins in 6 IMO

 

Not a noob, will be rooting for JMM, but Pac's physicality is too much for JMM at this weight. Would love to be wrong, but I'm not, Pac cruises.

Its nearing fight time.....and there's little cloud hanging over Marquez named Heredia who's supposedly has improved Marquez' speed and explosiveness.

Pac will make easy work of JMM, knock him down a few times, and if there should be a KO, it would happen in less than 6.

Now can some of you JMM fan boys at least give props to Pac if he KO's JMM, given that you all think it won't be easy?
Because personally, I'll only give Pac credit if he does KO JMM. Anything less will be a disappointment for me.

But that's just me, you know, I have balls. Unlike you play it safe joyboys who swing left and right every time you see videos of both camps.

easy work in my opinion. I do feel JMM is MUCH better at this weight than he was in his fight with Floyd. He looks a lot more solid and like a legit WW instead of a blown up Light Weight who jumped up too fast.

PAC by KO by the 7th...one sided in nature.

 

Marquez may very well limit his combos to 2 and 3 punches, but it wont be because of anything Pacquiao is doing, it will be by design.
I've been saying for months that Marquez needs to do this because he has no chance to win a decision against Pacquiao.

I see this as the reverse of what people expect the respective fighters to come out to accomplish.

While most see Pacquiao coming out after Marquez.
I think Roach is going to have Pacquiao come out moving on his toes and making Marquez come to him.
Roach is worthless as a trainer/strategist if he does'nt have Pacquiao using his feet to manuer in, out, and away from Marquez.
This type of strategy is what 38 year old past prime fighters have the most trouble with.

I think it is Marquez who will have to be patient, stay in the pocket, and wait to time Pacquiao coming in with power punching 1, 2, but no more than 3 punch combinations.
One of the things Heredia has worked with Marquez with is his explosiveness.
Word is that Marquez is now faster, stronger, and more explosive. The word from Heredia is that Marquez is very strong, he actually called it "too strong."

If this is actually true, dont be suprised to see Marquez land one of those explosive shots on the counter early and have Pacquiao do a dance.

It has got to be understood that Pacquiao has'nt taken many shots to the chin and head area at his fights at welter.
......and what people are not figuring is that Marquez for this fight at welter will be landing shots that have more power than they did almost 4 years ago when they last met.


Thats my take on it.
If I were the respective trainers, I'd have Marquez plan to land less but with more explosion and power.

I'd have Pacquiao attempt to land more more by planting his feet less, thus taking some punching power off his punches.


Roach has talked a big game about he not seeing Marquez go past 6 rounds.
I think he's bluffing. I think Roach intends to have Pacquiao use his faster legs and run away from Marquez.

I will note....If Pacquiao comes out fast and furious, I think Marquez is very capable still to counter the crap out of Pacquiao, and if its true that Heredia has Marquez punching more explosive, it may be Pacquiao who get caught coming in and knocked out.
If Marquez hurts you, he knows how to finish.
