I overrated Pac and his abilities. Seems like I drunk some of the kool aid.

 

Hey I was wrong and can say I'm glad I was wrong. I rooted for Marquez, despite not believing he could pull it off. Now, I will say this, and this is not to discredit Marquez's performance or greatness. I still believe Marquez doesn't belong above 140lbs, despite the performance. I think that is obvious. However, I also believe that a handful of fighters could have beaten Pac based on that performance last night. He looked old and shop worn. Not sure if he overtrained, got old, or just had a bad night, but I AM NOT buying that it was simply Marquez' style that poisoned Pacquiao. Yes Marquez' style will always present problems for Pacquiao, as it did in the last two fights, but lets be real, Marquez has always struggled with Pacquiao's style or lets say speed and strength, just as much as Pacquiao struggled with him, each having their reasons. This time around, Marquez didn't struggle, he wasn't going up against much in comparison to the last two fights. Now thats the truth. Marquez came through with his end of the bargain, Pacquiao failed to come through with his. Regardless of the reason, Marquez, in my opinion, and many other's eyes, proved to be the better man last night, more so than either guy has been able to prove in the past.

I remember telling them all that the same reason they are saying now, in "pac has developed a right hand" is the same reason before the second fight...
