For those that criticise Mayweather for not cleaning out 147 did Hatton clean out 140

I can assume this because Pavlik doesn't have a history of ducking anyone!! Can't say the same for Mayflower!!

you still are assuming and have no proof that he wont fight cotto or that pavlik will fight the other title holders

Until Cotto and Mayflower happens, we will all be assuming now won't we? I would love for Mayfeather to prove us doubters wrong!! Every fight fan would come out on top. But, it is highly unlikely!!

First off Baldomir is crap plain an simple...Castillo won the first fight we all know that...Judah????????? Are u serious Baldomir beat Judah and Cotto KO'd Judah while PBF couldn't KO judah....Margo took a tough fight with Williams and it was a close fight that neither man dodged each other unlike PBF who dodged Margo... PBF is all-talk if he was a true warrior why did he dodge Margo? Or disimss Cotto especially when he is in prime???Tell you why cause he knows he has a legit chance to get beaten thats why.

baldomir is crap?? but he was undisputed champ...castillo lost the 1st fight..judah was the former undisputed champ....PBF didnt hurt Judah??..then why did zab low blow pbf?? and anyway it doesnt matter if you hurt a fighter or not..pbf dodge margarita??...margarita was duckingg the **** out of williams for a while then he got beat by a willaims who is still green...
and cotto is not dismissed pbf is simply taking time off...niether cotto or margarita can beat pbf

jeez. pac at 130? no way. so he beat EM twice, mab once, larrios, solis, and velasquez. that is not cleaning the division up. beating guzman and jmm and maybe soto and valero could give him that distinction but as of now, pac is far from cleaning up the 130 division and i really don't think he will

you are comparing apples and oranges man. boxing math does not work. cotto tko'ing judah and pbf winning by decision does not mean cotto is better than pbf.

williams proved that margo does not have a chance against pbf. a good gameplan is all it takes to beat margo. who did he fight in his comeback? golden freaking johnson, son't you think that margo should have gotten better competition if he was that good in the first place?

Maybe fans expect more from Floyd because of all the mouthing off he does.
He's certainly the best PFP , so most fans expect him to beat everybody. Fights against Hatton and DLH seem almost like cherry picked "safe" fights compared to the potentially more dangerous Cotto and Williams. Don't forget, Floyds on a different level than other fighters, and the standards are higher. He says he's the best, so the best shouldn't hesitate to fight everybody, anytime. The critisism that comes when he avoids Cotto and Williams may not be entirely fair, but when someone flaps their lips like Floyd, he sets himself up for the naysayers.

Both fighters have equally mediocre records..Personally I feel Floyds most impressive victories were at 130 against Chavez and Corrales..It's long been understood that Ricky's victory against Tszyu was the dirtiest win in the history of the sport..aside from this Ricky was clowned by Urango and Collazo was straight up robbed in their fight..Now to the title of the thread...Mayweather will never be as great as he or his nuthugging fans thinks he is unless he beats Cotto..who by the way just beat Mosley who Floyd has managed to avoid for years. Plus Floyd got clowned by Zab early in their fight..not so with Cotto...Do I even need to mention the gift Floyd recieved against Castillo?
So this is why Floyd wants to retire: Too much competition in his own weight class. Partially why he just fought a light welter, and an old man before him. hoo ****ing ray:happy

Cotto was clowned by Judah to the degree he low blowed him twice.

You can look at Floyd's resume at 130-140 and consider him an ATG so why is it that the welterweight division has to be the one that defines his career....WOW!!!

They've taken hate to a whole new level....

It's highly unlikely you would except the fact that he beat a top contender because you'd make excuses for the fighters loss and then say Floyd needs to fight.....because he hasn't fought anybody.
