I love Roy but he has tarnished his legacy by fighting for 50 dollars against a grizzly bear or whatever he's planning next
you mean at 152? How about Roberto Duran who was 79-1 at one point won the lightweight title and middleweight title who finished with over 100 wins hows that one for ya?
RJJ started at middleweight and won the heavyweight title, Armstrong holding 3 titles at the same time, Pacquiao 8 weight champion amazing, SRR 130- 1 record, seriously floyd is an ATG but GOAT your having a laugh
Hamed good god there are plenty of fighters way way better then him, lets look at the top fighters in the world outside Floyd, Ward amazing fighter undefeated as a pro olympic gold medal ect, JMM pure legend, Rigondeaux top 3 ATG amateur honestly think he beat Barrera Morales ect, Pacquiao Ledgend, Klitschko top 10 ATG heavyweight IMO, and many more you can name, the idea that the standard of boxing has dropped is bull**** IMO, look at the 147 division or 122 division as strong as they probably have ever been.
What he's done past of his prime makes no diffrence to his legacy ..But if he signs up to fight a grizzly where do I buy tickets :hey
Is this a joke? Floyd's resume is not good,it's composed of hand picked opponent. Floyd is not even top 28.
i hate all this, he was 71-1 then he stepped it up and lost to hagler, hearns, srl, benitez... etc etc.. floyd has beaten everyone in his era except pacman..
How can you say hatton has a glass jaw lmao... if youv had 40+ fights and haven't been knocked out you don't have no glass jaw :/.. a shot bum JMM thats just ko'd pacman lol?? hardly shot..i'd agree with de la hoya, but he was the money man and floyd wanted that crown..
And none of the guys that Floyd fought with the excpetion of a faded Oscar were even close to being half the boxers : Hagler,Hearns ,Benitez and SRl were when Duran faced them ! Duran never waited for those guys to get old nor did he opt for a retirement so that he woldn't have had to face them !
Add to that at aged 38 he jumped up to middleweight and exchanged blows with Barkley, and won. (He also displayed under-rated defense)
