I can understand liking him... i like him, i think hes a good fighter with very good power, but its like... imo, people are putting him places he doesnt belong in the 147lb division. Somehow.... from the margarito fight, seems to me that cintrons stock is now on the same level if not more then margaritos.... people are talking about him as if hes one of the top players. Imo, hes just under the elite at that division, and i think this margarito rematch will show it. I actually dont like this fight.... i just dont see the point. The division is so stacked, i would rather see an elimenation between cintron and clottey maybe to get a crack at williams. Margarito just had his shot so i have no problem having him wait after he wins his next fight before getting a shot at his old title again. The 147lb division is awsome.... but i dont like this fight too much, and regardless... i think we see the same thing we saw last time, maybe a couple rounds later.
Yes, Cintron is going to really have his hands full with Feliciano... seriously, this is the last name brand automatic KO victim I want to see him in with for a while. Next up should, at the least, be an eliminator bout with Quintana.
Well you have your own opinion bruh . . . and I can respect that. :yep But this fight means a lot to both fighters. If Cintron wins, then he has redeemed himself and will prove to the boxing world that indeed he is a real force to be reckoned with in this division. He can then go for a unification fight. If he loses then he needs to climb back again. For Margarito . . . getting a new belt will line him up to get another crack at Williams and/or get bigger fights in the future . . . but if he loses . . . then he is out of the picture. Both fighters are putting everything on the line here . . . so I like this fight. I'm a fan of both but I'm giving Cintron a fair chance to Crack Marg this time.
The whole Vargas-Mayorga card for this Saturday got scrapped when Vargas had health issues. The main event is rescheduled for November, all the other matches are dissolved. Cintron is fighting either Clottey or Margarito on December 1st.
Cintron will get ko again. Margarito isn't Feliciano. The first good fighter against Cintron was Margarito and he KO him. Now the 2nd time he'll be put against a great fighter (margarito again) and it will be same thing. At least that's how I see it.
The chink in this argument's armor is calling Margarito a good fighter. Getting knocked out by a fighter who isn't very good doesn't make you a bad fighter. Roy Jones got knocked out by Antonio Tarver.
