those are due to slaps and gloves rubbing in their face but still joe gets the job done so I give credit to that
i totally agree with you at one point he was 22-0 21 ko ofcourse he could bang but as you said hand injuries ****ed him up
TRUE...the guy has genuine power early in his career but because of hands problems does'nt sit on his punches anymore!!!
Calzaghe was never a big puncher,he only stopped fighters of the Tocker Pudwill level anything above that and you got 12 rounds. The only decent fighter i recall him stopping was Woodhall.
Just about every elite fighter has a big drop in KO's when the move up against better opposition anyway but yeah the bad hands didn't help. Of course Roy was in the corner saying those pity-pat shots hurt more than he though they would..LOL..Lacy well he is not very talented but he has never been stopped yet so I'd say he has a great chin while being very basic as a fighter. B-hop never gets hurt and he did have Kessler hurt at one point. I think after the Kessler fight both fighters admitted they were a bit stunned a few times.
Lacy was in trouble in the 1st and was on his way out in the 12. the ref stopped the fight to get a glove taped back up which saved Lacy from a KO.
