Of course, I appreciate Pacquaio. He is the pride of Asian boxing community and undisputedly the best Asian boxer in history. He is also a true example and ambassador of the sport. A humble, hardworking and brave gentlement who never afraid of challenge. Even most of his former opponents respect him. Unless your favorite boxer got their ass kicked by him, I don't really see a reason why people or boxing fans in general would hate him.
So do you guys keep that same "he wasn't drained" energy when talking about Canelo Vs Floyd? Asking for a friend that doesn't have an account...
Kick never been seen before? Ali, Tyson ,SRL, ODH, it’s been a lot of fighters that have given the sport a kick. I respect your opinion but really take a look a the history of the Sport.
I've never said Oscar beat Floyd. Oscar was beating Floyd through midway of the fight and only lost by 1-2 rounds, which was an epic fail by Prime Mayweather considering how washed up the version of Oscar he was facing was. And fact was, Oscar was outboxing Floyd until he started gassing. His jab/activity trumped Floyd's odd one clean punch at a time. Take the Oscar around 97-2000 vs that same prime Floyd. It's a foregone conclusion that Oscar would easily win 2-3 more rounds, if Floyd would have been able to make the distance with Prime Oscar, that would be the only question actually. But Dude, you're the laughing stock of ESB LOL You're as irrational as a menopausing female so no point wasting anymore breath on you.
McLarnin was a former flyweight who won the welterweight championshop via first round KO. The Belfast Spider is an ATG, though. So it follows that Pac would be, too.
Not to diminish Pacquiao as he's a truly legendary fighter and the greatest of his generation IMO, but not only can I do it I can even go one better than that Monster Inoue is a former light-flyweight world champion and had Melon Head Miguel aka CCC (Cripple Crusher Cotto) aka The Gammy Knee Assassin ever dared to step foot in a ring with an able-bodied version of him (which of course he wouldn't of in a million years) he would've been sparked out cold in 2 or 3 rounds tops.
More wishful thinking I see. You mean the same Oscar who lost more big fights than he won? The same Oscar who always faded down the stretch? The same Oscar who couldn't make adjustments? You mean that oscar? What we do know is pbf took away Oscars jab and left hook landed the cleaner and harder shots and watched him fade down the stretch on cue. What we do know is that oscar admired pbf so much that he hired his daddy to teach him how to fight like his son . Oscar is the ultimate pbf stan. Lmfao! You're a bitter irrational pbf hater still mad that he dominated boxing in 3 different decades will forever own Oscar's golden ass between the ropes deal with it.
Pacquiao was a Flyweight at 20, and he outgrew the division. And he immediately moved up 3 divisions Pac was a big boy draining down because he once was a malnourished bum. People put too much emphasis on Pacquiao "being" a Flyweight. And a lot of people still claim he could move down to 135. Maybe he could boil down, but hes been at 147 for nearly 10 years now. Hes not this midget people make him out to be. Still an amazing athlete and a true ATG.
Did he win titles at Flyweight though. Pacquiao wasnt able to just make Flyweight though. He was a malnourished teenager who stopped the man. The same guy who had beaten the best Flyweight of the 1990s. Also, Pacquiao started his career at 106 pounds. He had to put weights in his pocket to get his weight up on the scale. Otherwise they wouldn't sanction the fight.
Youd have to b a stupid mothersucker not to appreciate pacquaio and what he's done for the sport of boxing. Unnecessary thread.
