Some good news for you all tonight. US National Champion Jeremiah Graziano made his pro debut tonight, winning by 1st round KO. I've seen Jeremiah fight in person in the amateurs and warm up on the mitts; and he is extremely impressive. Very, very aggressive and strong; and he says his role model is Mike Tyson. He's obviously not the next Mike, but he is very aggressive and has good upper body movement when coming forward, albeit with a tendency to bring his chin a bit too far up. He's someone to keep an eye on though, as he could be someone very fun to watch as a pro.
thanks for the heads up i havent seen ANYTHING on this guy so i will have to look into obviously a long way to go but hey who knows he may be something
This is when I saw him, at the Ringside tournament-I think this was his last amateur fight. [YT]fhEgZMRNG0M[/YT]
I think he has the potential to go pretty far and if the belts are scattered, maybe he could win an alphabet title. Who knows
As a follow up on this, he apparently knocked his opponent out in around 6 seconds and the guy was down for several minutes (what I heard said around 10).
the kid can crack! another one to watch for is Garret Simon of Puyallup, Wa. He turns pro when he turns 18, next Sept or Oct
I've heard of him. He's one of the few bright spots for Western Washington's amateur boxing right now.
WOW.... looks like potential here Kolya!!! thanks for the heads up man! keep us updated please He looks a bit small though... not small for guys like us but for guys like the klits, valuev, ect... whats his size do you know? At any rate... he looks in shape, fights with intensity and fire not really seen anymore in the heavies... and can bang. Id like to see a few more of his fights but if he is normally like this you can count me on board his express! Im not saying i think he can become heavy champ of the world... but besides my boy wlad i really dont have anyone else in the division to root for, and i can always support someone who brings it like this. way to go.
He's a cruiserweight, he's 6' and fought at 201. And he pretty much always fights like that. When he won Nationals this yearh e stopped all but one of his opponents I think. When I saw him warming up down in KC I could tell it was him without seeing his face.
:good sweet. he fights pretty aggressive and keeps his left shoulder high to protect from counter rights. he'd get alittle off balance from throwing those huge left hooks, but nothing a great trainer can't fix. definitely keepin an eye out
And another one: [YT]W-zXLJuF0wM[/YT] The kid can really punch. Now that he's a pro we can move the guy from my gym who went at 178 last year up to 201.
DAMNIT too bad hes a cruiser... i hope he doesnt go up to heavy because he will be too small... but damnit if the kid cant fight.... cant wait to see him as a pro! Hopefully he continues to stay in shape, and maybe even improve a bit as a pro... i wonder how he will fare against world class opposition. thanks for the clips Kolya.... hes a breath of fresh air for the big men.
