He was almost made to look very foolish by Taylor in their first fight and there is no doubt in my mind another person will do the same to him in the future.

Joe is on the slide? i've been hearing a shitload of this since he fought Bhop  It may be true but **** some fans are transparent. I wouldnt even know who to go for if PAv fought Joe but i know Joe has the attributes to give Pav grief.

I'd take Calzaghe over Pavlik. I think Pavlik is the real deal, but Joe has all the skills.

Pavlik punches straight, hard & often. He's a real live underdog against JC. Great fight to be made.

ALMOST ? lol Yea Pavlik was on ***** street for a while but he didn't look foolish , Calzaghe is on the slide but this is still a 50-50 fight , Joes hands are ****ed mate , ive been a massive fan of Calzaghe since i saw him as an amature down the local club when he was a kid and followed his career all the way through , but ive seen a few things creep into his game over the last two years that indicate to me he is defo on the slide , will these things become even more apparent v Pavlik ? Yes imo they will , will they be enough of a handicap to see him beaten ? well no , imo Joe has one big fight left in him and if forced to punt on predicting a winner v Pavlik i would pick Joe but i wouldn't be 100% confident in doing so , Calzaghe is on the slide , Age determines this , he ain't like a fine wine that just keeps getting better with age Being a fan of someone is all well and good but i shouldn't blind you to the facts , This fight is your best ever chance to see him beaten Teke , you should embrace it .

Rumours around that the fight's being lined up for October. You certainly can't help but admire Calzaghe and his choice of opponents of late. Great fighter after great fighter. I've followed him since his amature days as well and it's great to see his legacy being established.

Kel you said Locket has no power?

I think sparking 20 out of 30 means your power is bloody good. (i better check those numbers but).

Pavlik will KO Joe within 6 imo. I really dont see him being beaten this year or next.

And id rather see Joe beat Roy and retire.

If Taylor's movement meant a close fight in the second, I think Joe's boxing ability will give the Ghost a lot of trouble. He won't be silly and stand toe to toe with him. Just my opinion.

Sparking bums hardly counts. I've got a few KO's on my resume down the local pub but don't think my power is over the top :yep

Haumono has a 100% KO record, lets see if that stays the same with 2years fighting in the states.

Lockett has fought mainly bums back in Wales/England etc

Sols 12 fights doesnt compare to 30.

I dont call any boxer a bum. And i think a few of those fighters must have had some heart. I wonder if Locket will keep fighting and get his #1 rabking back.

Talk of Mundine fighting Pav, ........ as if, Mundine no way steps up to him, ever!

He's stopped a few handy fighters such as our own Kevin Kelly, Gilbert Eastman, Lee Blundell and Howard Clark twice. He can obviously punch.

Locketts been fighting tough eastern european type fighters , where do you get your info from mate ? , Lockett is a decent fighter its just that he come up against a much better one in Pavlik , Gary earned enough to buy up the two morgages he had out and fought the ring champ in the states , he will continue to fight for a living i reckon , getting slammed by Pavlik is no disgrace .

True Ippy , Joe Calzaghe has had an outstanding career when you look at all the fighters he's fought who were then just former Champs or Current champs , he's held all the major titles at one time or another , IBF , WBO , WBC , WBA & Ring Mag title @ S/Middle , Ring mag L/Heavyweight champ Unbeaten since 14 years old all this after being trained by his novice father in a freezing shed up in Newbridge LMFAO take a Bow Chosen Joe . :deal
