Did Kid Diamond deserve this decision? Seems that the fight was close, and from the clips I saw Jauregui was tagging him quite a bit. Unfortunately, I didn't see enough of the fight.

Diamond seemed to do enough to deserve it, but was troubled especially early. I had picked The Kid to lose, but I thought he won if just by a round or two.

Kid is a joke, Jauregui who is almost 40 tagged him up badly and even traded with him. Regardless if Kid won by 1 or 2 rounds hes still not worth watching.

Kid Diamond is a joke, and a very bad one at that. He should rematch Miguel Huerta, who handed him his ass on Versus a while back.

Get Anthony Peterson in with Kid Diamond.
Be a nice fight to propel Peterson close or just into Top 10 at Lightweight.
I no the fight was discussed in the past & both are with Top Rank.
Easy as to make & should be entertaining too.:good

I also agree with everyone here-Diamond won by one or two rounds. He start landing shots with no problem in the second half of the fight, but in first half it was pretty competitive.

The beating Nate gave him DID ruin by some of the things I've been reading about this fight.

He should fight Anthony Peterson, would be a good fight, would give us more of an indication of what level either fighter is at.

The LW division IS absolutely mind-blowing at the moment, Katsidis-Chavez will be another indicator of what level these two guys are at. I actually pick Katsidis to win this one, I think Chavez doesn't have quite enough in him to trade with Katsidis, who, despite losing, showed better technique against Juan Diaz.

I hope no one writes him off, he's taken two difficult fights and lost, and he seems to be taking another difficult fight next. Good man.
