What about the poor opposition PBF has faced since moving up frpm SFW. It is possible to pick holes in the quality of each opponent he has faced since moving up from lightweight. In reverse order: De La Hoya (inactive), Baldomir (slow and limited, but who had got lucky against Zab Judah), Judah (exposed, off a defeat), Sharmba Mitchell (over the hill), Arturo Gatti (shot), Henry Bruseles (beaten twice by average opponents), DeMarcus Corley (off a defeat to Judah, subsequently outclassed by Junior Witter). Hatton is WAY better than any of those guys. Also Hatton will be only the second unbeaten boxer that Mayweather has faced - the other being Diego Corrales at super-featherweight in 2001. The best name on either guys record is Tzsyu (at LWW or WW), who was not shot or over the hill. In fact his recent fights prior to getting whooped by Hatton he was destoying all competition and arguably P4P no 1 at the time. Just thought I'd point that out.
I'm not making a statement about Hatton's resume, but insulting Floyd's won't make Hatton's any better. This is attacking the straw man at its finest. Try again.
Well, who does have a good resume then? I'm just saying it's easy to pick holes, if that's your thing.
How 'bout this: instead of anybody sneering at either fighter, let's just be excited that a big fight between two the game's best is happening in two days.
It's not that easy to pick holes though, Floyd's record is a good one and if someone doesn't see that it's because they haven't followed boxing. At Floyd to Hatton's resume and Hatton to Floyd's, and both records increase tremendously.
Floyd's resume, like him or not, is very good. He has fought some real great fighters, a lot more than Hatton has. But Hatton's biggest win is probably better than Floyd's biggest win as you say.
Really? **** I thought both records would get worse by adding another 35 wins and 5 or 6 titles to them.
Castillo - Shot, fighting for no money Urango - Who, probably the worst world champ in history, and Hatton struggled Collazo - Hatton Lost, got schooled by Mosley Maussa - Look at his record since, got KO in round 1 a few times Tyuszu - Inactive, Shot, Would of won outside Manchester, was up on my cards Then everybody that Warren put him agaisnt!!
Right now Floyd has a better resume. But Hatton is his biggest test since Castillo II back in what... 02 or 01.
