Yeah, I suppose your right, he did look pretty wobbly on his feet standing there with one foot in the air.

What was the ref thinking letting him tie his laces back up?

Is Hatton Elite...well no. No one here is saying that ....is Hatton a bum? Well only a true and genuine internet ****head would say that.

Hatton is a vastly talented guy who at 140 pounds fights with a massive fanbase and attracts global attention and deflects Boxing coverage to Europe.

Now whether like myself you cant understand why Billy Graham isnt making Hatton use more head movement and greater caution defensivly, thats another question.

Overall Hatton is a good thing for Boxing in general and a pretty good fighter who now needs final improvement to say he was great.

Lazcano is no pushover guys. The guy gave Castillo lots of problems too. I'm talking about prime Castillo. The one that arguably beat Floyd.

And Hatton won this fight convincingly. I don't understand why suddenly this guy is not world class anymore just because he got bruised on his face

Because he's over the hill and has clearly put his best years behind him? Because he labored to a loss against a Vivian Harris who could no longer carry a head of steam past the second round?

I'd love to spar with him, to be honest.
Obviously he'd have to go at LEAST 50%, if not less, to not knock me the **** out, but would be fun.

:patsch Its not a ****ing Tea Party.....

Hatton has always marked up bad, anyone who has actually followed his career and not just read **** threads like this would know that, he would look like that after a game of darts man.....

So what has that got anything to do with Hatton not being world class? Hatton shouldn't have bruises because Lazcano is what you think he is? Lazcano had 2 hands too and Hatton is not hard to hit. That should not be a surprise.

So Hatton was also hurt on several occasions, but was that also surprising knowing a PBF knocked him out?

So, being the best fighter in the world at your weight doesn't merit the tag 'world class'???:huh :huh

I've come to the conclusion that some people here have not got a clue what boxing is supposed to be about. It seems these days if a fighter loses, gets knocked down, hurt, marked up, or even hit cleanly, then he is written off as no good.
Ricky could have had a pushover fight, but didn't. He fully expected a tough fight, and it's clear he trained for it. If the guy never punched back, we'd soon complain about it.
