I was under the impression that Villa had better comp against bigger guys, but again, maybe that's because there are quite a few of Wilde's opponents I know little about.

I like McGrain's list as well.Other than Villa.

I'd have Harada in there somewhere though.Despite the very short stay, this was arguably his natural weightclass(115 i reckon would have been ideal had that existed then) and he's a monster head to head here. The Jones jr at 160 debate could apply to him, though i think Kingpetch was a more experienced, superior opponent than the pre-prime Hops.

Ebihara comes close, especially if you think he beat Accavallo.Very underrated record despite no real title run.

Chang and Lopez could stake claims for a place as well, probably the only two from the modern sub-flyweight divisions that did enough to warrant inclusion.

    No.

I actually moved him down a slot, but check out the world champion at higher weights he beat up whilst weighing in at the fly limit. He also stopped a faded Wilde and in those 4 short years won more fights than many fighters who are active twice as long.

I had him in originally at 10 until I realised I had forgotten Genaro. Given that I would have Kane at 9 now, that would make him #12.

Hmmm. That's some challenge there, Janitor! I'm sure no expert of the Flyweights, but that's never stopped me from having an opinion before, so Ill take a stab anyway. I won't be surprised if more knowledgeable Flyweight fans disagree with some of the names and much of the order of this, which I'm not too sure of anyway.

    01- Jimmy Wilde
    02- Pascual Perez
    03- Peter Kane
    04- Benny Lynch
    05- Fidel LaBarba
    06- Santos Laciar
    07- Frankie Genero
    08- Miguel Canto
    09- Jackie Brown
    10- Pancho Villa
